[Sunset Falls] Silence,Fear and New Beginnings (Fubuki)

Postby Daelerria al'Theyian on June 2nd, 2013, 11:01 am

Both eyes budged left, slowly turning away from the sight of Kouri, peering over to the continuous sight of trees rowed together which led a straight path. Feelings of slight fear, annoyance and utter confusion built in, charging with sheer revulsion as it broke Larry's calm state piece by piece. She didn't knew exactly how to react, now that a slight pinch of malignancy tainted the ghost's way of speaking and had withered the solemn atmosphere Larry had hoped to maintain. Her volcanic temper had arose within, trying the best that she can to collect her patience and not erupt fully with her violent tongue. But she still urged to say something, not after being called 'miss', hearing it alone with her ever-sensitive ears filled her with much discomfort, something which she just couldn't abide to withstand. Though she did have the courage to say something to redeem herself, saying it in a polite manner was somewhat, impossible for her to accomplish.

After ideas stormed her mind, she brought her eyes back, meeting up with Kouri's bodily figure. Her temper which boiled up inside shifted as she replaced it with something comfortable to ease up her mood. Her right hand reached over her delicate white cream hair, brushing it sideways and created a slight bit of a mess. She harrumphed, closed both of her eyes for a bit then met Korui's face as she opened them back abruptly. "Miss......" she snickered "you see... I really don't feel comfortable by being called......Miss" she ended with a soft friendly voice but with a slight element of harshness conflated to it. "Please do call me by my nickname, Larry. If we were to be friends that is" Though she spoke courageously polite all of a sudden, She kind of felt weaker on the inside knowing that this kind of conversation somehow sounded like someone pleading for a life to be spared.

"So, can't we?" Larry questioned, ending up with a slightly incoherent point "Be friends I mean. Allies, Comrades, Pals, whatever you are satisfied with" She felt uncomfortable for a moment giving a deliberate thought about the words she just said. It sounded ridiculous, as if she was making a master out of Kouri. "And yeah, maybe I'll take that corpse back. I can't imagine myself ....eating it." After what Kouri said about eating it, made her shiver with utter repugnance, but she did thought about it. The beast's fur might serve well as a good exchange for a couple of gold mizas.

A scent of death fluctuated the air, polluting all throughout with its foul aroma. It's ambiance cruised in with the breeze, embracing each other with the loathsome scent fused and as it danced about, it found it's way over to Larry's nostrils bringing in sheer aversion and a vile feeling. Larry coughed several times, almost felt nauseous from smelling the dead body alone. She panted heavily then jerked her hands on thin air, fluttering it hoping for the smell to deviate from the path it follows which seemed to be straight towards her nostrils. It was disturbing, her senses almost fell in distortion but she managed to gather herself as the scent subsided. Oh, how am I going to get this petching dung back to the city? The sudden thought flustered her.

Continuing, she looked back at Kouri and was oddly intrigued if she ever smelled the foul scent. Larry breathed a sigh, a worn-out one, giving thoughts to herself about going back to the city. She struck a gleeful smile in-front of Kouri, as if she just woke up from a cozy slumber. "So, I actually have no idea where you're from but What brings you here? in the woods? If you might ask, I planned to train myself here but apparently, I failed miserably on my first attempt but heh, I'm not giving up just yet. It's still the middle of the day and I have lots of time before sunset arrives."

Fubuki Kouri

A small arrogant smirk formed on Kouri's lips. This woman was annoyed, but Kouri knew she couldn't do anything to go against her. From the stance she was showing with her single dagger, Kouri noticed that she was still very much a beginner. If push came to shove, Kouri would make short work of Daelerria and left her bloody corpse to be eaten by the wolves and none would be the wiser.

"Huh?" Kouri truly tilted her head in utter confusion, this woman wasn't comfortable with being called miss. What is she? Some male soul trapped in a female's body? Or just a gender-confused delusional woman? Kouri opted for the latter conclusion.

"Ha! Ehehehahahaha! Y-you..." Kouri held her stomach with both of her hands and giggled furiously, her chakrams also shook left and right following its master. "You don't want to be called 'Miss'? Fue... fuehahahahaha!! B-but you're a woman are you not? What do you want me to call you? Hohohoho! Hahaha! P-perhaps you want to be called 'Sir'?" She utterly mocked this loony woman who seemed to never have been taught etiquette and decorum. Kouri wondered on how sad her parents must be.

"Larry? But that's a boy's name! Ha! Hehehehahahaha!!" Kouri couldn't take it anymore, her noblewoman facade fell completely and she dropped to her knees; giggling like a hyperactive little girl. "F-friends with you? Hmph! Fuahahaha! Why would a lady like myself be friends with a tactless woman such as you?"

Kouri grinned and stood back up. "However... if you would just act like our gender, I suppose we could be acquaintance. Alright then, please say 'I'm Daelerria, pleased to meet you, Madame Kouri' and remember to lift your dres-.... alright, just curtsy like a polite woman would do, hehehe~ Then we can be friends".

Kouri put her hands to her waist again and waited for the woman's answer, but it seemed she was busy with the bloody remains of that mountain lion. "Go on, take it back, consider it as a gift from me! O ho ho ho~!" She did that oh-so-haughty laugh once more. Kouri didn't care for the foul smell it emanated, she was used to it after slaughtering so many carnivores in the forest.

"What brings me here? Well, I'm here to hone myself in manipulating my beautiful pets, see?" Kouri answered the woman's question and as she said that, her blood-stained twin chakrams revolved around herself like moons circling the planet. "Yes, yes, you need to train badly... in attitude, demeanor, and fashion sense; but it seemed you're doing an awful job at it. O ho ho ho~" Kouri didn't care if her words sounded hostile and mean. This young woman was like a bad thorn for proper women everywhere in all Mizahar.

Hmph! Serves her right, women like her ruined the reputation of proper ladies everywhere...

[Sunset Falls] Silence,Fear and New Beginnings (Fubuki)

Postby Daelerria al'Theyian on June 3rd, 2013, 4:25 pm

Lips pressed together and eyes were brought to a close as Larry struck a meekly smile, still playing submissive in spite of the huge wave of instantaneous mockery which swept her ashore like a mere ethereal driftwood. She spurted a forced chuckle, letting every word which came out from Kouri's mouth to pass by, but as she leased the ghost to finish, her patience dissolved into sheer nothingness. All the strained pressure built inside her head barged away from the tolerance which had pillared it, abruptly erupting inside with such devastation that it almost made herself fume out involuntarily. Her temper was loose, shifting a great amount of discomfort in her mood. Ivak's foul breath!. HARRRGH!!! I'll make sure to slit out your tongue before you can even attempt to laugh again, snotty little pest! enraged thoughts circled her for a moment, carefully thinking of how to come up with the proper response. Violence was already one of her options and may be considered as a 'proper' form of response, now that Larry was lured into provocation but she seemed to be aware of Kouri's capabilities not after how Larry witnessed the quick kill of the mountain lion with a single fling of Kouri's weapons.

Both eyes were opened striking the ghost with a sharp look and while trembling in downright birse, Larry's breathed a sigh hoping she won't attempt on doing something ridiculous that might risk her life. But then for a second, her thoughts pondered back to where Kouri snickered with her insults.

"Yes, yes, you need to train badly... in attitude, demeanor, and fashion sense; but it seemed you're doing an awful job at it. O ho ho ho~"

The offensive statement alone made herself picture her mother standing right in front of her, harshly lecturing her with the do's and don'ts of a proper lady and remembered how much she disliked her before she died. It did however, amplified her furious state. All of those perturbing demands for proper etiquette and all of those pursuits she was obliged to follow, Larry remembered how she strongly loathe them all and viewed as if it was a threat which hinders herself to her goals. She hated her mother but now that she was gone, there's no reason to undertake such things but to carry on with her ambition. Kouri's words alone were a threat and Larry just couldn't withstand her any longer.

Larry reached her dagger with her right hand, slowly pulling it out from it's sheath then eyed it briefly, picturing out how she'll approach with a strike that'll surely heed a warning for the ghost. "Dare to say those things again." She said, her voice sounded grim as she casts her eyes down. The gleeful and assertive persona she had been displaying earlier abruptly shifted into a somber mood.

oocthis isn't yet the post I planned out in the PM....feel free to taunt her more or whatever you'd like to do

"Hmmm? Don't tell me... you are angry? Ha! Fuahahahaha!" Kouri laughed again, her tone ever so haughty and snobby. "Serves you right, Miss Daelerria~ You acted like a ruffian and not a proper lady, of course you must expect a ruffian treatment and not a proper lady's respect shown to you."

Kouri made a 'meh' gesture with her right hand with her palm opened upwards. She then flicked her hair and rubbed her right index finger against the sharp edges of her chakram. I wonder, Miss Daelerria... will you cry? Will you throw a tantrum? Or will you futilely try to attack me? Kouri was genuinely intrigued to see further reactions from the masculine-acting slim woman in front of her and thus, she would push her buttons further.

"Dare to say those things again."

"Hmph! With pleaaasure, Miss~" Kouri turned her body sideways and sharply pointed her right index finger to her. "You, Miss Daelerria! Is a disgrace to proper women, etiquette, decorum, and fashion sense in general. I will not put you on the same level as I put people who understand their gender and acts according to it. It's absurd that you offered me your friendship. Hmph! I rather be friends with a male thug. At least, he's acting like his gender. O ho ho hohohohoho~!!" She put her left hand near her mouth and laughed. Madame Kouri was teaching the Ruffian Larry a lesson after all.

Are you going to stab me with that flimsy dagger of yours? I would like to see you try...

[Sunset Falls] Silence,Fear and New Beginnings (Fubuki)

Postby Daelerria al'Theyian on June 4th, 2013, 9:38 am

Tautening her grip on the dagger, she brought herself to a poise that'll burst into a charge. Moving the dagger closer to her chest while both hands gripped it's hilt in a thrusting stance and it's sharp point was set over Kouri. Her eyes looked sharp but not as sharp as her dagger. It was filled with sheer determination, perhaps launching a successful strike deemed to be an achievement that'll put a halt to her supposed training for the day. Her body slanted, poising her right shoulder in-front and the other behind. Sweat embedded her forehead, and it was a clear sign that a slight halo of agitation assaulted her while she accumulates her concentration. Larry gnashed her teeth, recalling all what the insolent ghost had said.

"I HOPE YOU GAG YOU WRETCHED PIECE OF GAS!!" She roared at the top of her lungs, exploding into several echoes within the solemn forest. Both feet swiveled sideways, mashing the coarse earth below. Then as the stream of warm breeze blew several strands of her hair, She launched herself onward in a blistering sprint, propelling her dagger before Kouri. Rek'keli, please help me on this one. with sheer determination merged with her anger, she whispered a simple wish to her deity asking for guidance and protection for the upcoming risk that'll probably threaten her. Larry ran ceaselessly and closed her eyes; anger had completely been drawn to her face.

As she reached a halfway distance before Kouri, something unexpectedly stole her concentration and slapped her like a piece of paper blown by the wind. It was like earlier before she even met Kouri though unlike previously, it wasn't about her goals. Although her eyes were closed, her mind gave a clear visage of her mother right over the point where she focused her charge. She did hate her, right from the start where Larry was educated but one thing she felt dissatisfied from the days of her life before her mother died was when she failed her. She shook her head vigorously, eluding most of what her mind has interfered. Mulling about it isn't something she should probably focus on right now.

With some of her concentration depleted, Larry started to tremble with agitation, significantly affecting the pace of her charge. Her eyes were still closed though and was still scampering onward but then until one of her foot jostled against a rock which situated to the ground below. As the foot stumbled, she toppled down, falling abruptly until her body struck the ground hard and with the force of her charge compelled her momentum, her entire body shoved forward until her head--which was mashed down within the dirt---meet with Kouri's footwear. Larry's body tarried still on the ground and was unable to growl in pain whereas, her mouth was clogged by dirt.

Fubuki Kouri

"I HOPE YOU GAG YOU WRETCHED PIECE OF GAS!!"

"Gas?" Kouri made a naughty -not that kind of naughty - smile at the seething charging woman before her. Awwwww~ So cute~ She put her right hand to her mouth to stifle a giggle. Kouri noticed that she was backing a tree, what will happen next was the girl would go through Kouri as if she was air and *BAM!* crashed into the tree; then Kouri would laugh at her pathetic state.

But nooooo, she just had to screw it up. Half-way charging, the woman seemed to lost her concentrated rage and went tumbling down to the ground. "*Siiiiigh*..." Kouri heaved a long and tired heavy sigh. The excitement that had build within her vanished almost instantly. She said she was an aspiring knight right? This woman... would die on the first real day of any combat mission. Strangely, Kouri felt pity quickly rising inside.

"......" Her haughty expression slowly died down, replaced by a gentle feminine small smile. She noticed the dagger that was clutched in Daelerria's right hand, the dagger that she was going to stab her with. "*Sigh*..." Kouri sighed again, her tendrils gently put down her twin chakrams behind her.

"Come on, get up, please don't embarass yourself" Kouri's tendrils then wrapped around each of the woman's shoulder and gently helped her to a standing position. "...." She then slithered her right tendril along her right hand and picked up Larry's dagger. "You know... if I was a bandit right now, you would have died..." True concern could be heard from her voice, as much as awful this woman's decorum is; she's not a bad person and Kouri didn't want her to die silly.

Kouri then floated to Larry, used a tendril to lift her right hand, and returned back her dagger. "Are you hurt?" Kouri then used her right hand to clean Daelerria's face by wiping off the dirt. "Your face is what's left of your beauty, the rest is wrapped in that... clothes of yours. I don't want to see it tarnished..." Kouri then vanished, leaving the area. One could see a flashing figure of white disappearing and appearing ever closer to the river.

After about thirty seconds, Kouri returned; bringing a large leaf acting as a cup for the river's water. She then hold the water-filled leaf with two tendrils and another two picked up two smaller leaves and used it as a napkin to wipe the rest of the dirt from Larry's face. "You still got some dirt on your hair... do you want me to clean it?" Kouri didn't want to tease anymore, it was not worth it.

[Sunset Falls] Silence,Fear and New Beginnings (Fubuki)

Postby Daelerria al'Theyian on June 5th, 2013, 12:22 pm

"Come on, get up, please don't embarass yourself"

Larry lifted herself above but her strength which was drained up by the abrupt fall wasn't enough. Luckily, the ghost held her with a concerned support, sluggishly raising her posture and unbending her knees from below. Her face was a mess, dirt was limned all over it along with some strands of her hair which had diluted tints of russet muck. Her eyes looked drowsy, almost as if she was about to faint from the sudden weakness but there was still something left to do, something she determined to accomplish earlier and she wasn't about to surrender yet. Trembling as she stood, she took notice of Kouri's sudden shift of speech tone. Her drowsy eyes met with hers, reading a face drawn by worry and concern, she felt confused all of a sudden, unbeknownst to the ghost's true nature. She never did expect this, certainly not from how the ghost acted recently.

As Kouri vanished onto the river, Larry felt utter frustration. Her right fist tensed with sudden anger, firmly gripping the hilt of her weapon. Eyes were downcast and not even a single word was heard from her ever since the worried questions were asked. After a short while, the ghost came back with a large leaf acting as a small reservoir for water. The leaf was pressed over to Larry's face, abolishing mostly of the dirt which were painted all around it. Larry's eyes still looked drowsy and stood still while her legs were partly trembling. She panted awfully but was halted when the pain of her two legs subsided.

"You still got some dirt on your hair... do you want me to clean it?"

"Thanks...but I'll take care of it myself" Her voice still sounded grim even though the pain she felt subsided. However, with a dull pace, she impelled her right hand onward with her dagger being gripped by it, casting over to Kouri's neck. As her right arm straightened with the point of the dagger meeting at the midsection of the ghost's neck, she lifted her head abruptly, and her sharp determined eyes meet with the ghost's face. Larry struck a demure smile with dimples drawn together beside it.

"Heh Heh" Larry humbly chuckled almost sounded as if she was a teenage boy. Her grim mood suddenly shifted, as can be read from the eyes drawn by strong decisiveness "I'm not quite finished with you yet!" Slowly, she drifted her dagger away from Kouri, turning herself against her then took some steps forward. As Larry got a decent distance away from the ghost, she turned back. "I demand a spar! Larry paused for awhile mulling over on what she was attempting "If you win, You can call me whatever names you want but if you loose, you'll give me a spar whenever I want to, if we ever meet again that is " Her smiled faded, then held her dagger with both of her hands. Larry continued to gaze at the ghost anxiously waiting for a proper answer. "Well then?".

OOC :
The Gibberling Theme is more suited for an even-powered duel, IMO. :P

For this one, I'll go with this

At Larry's current power level, it's like a boss battle after all.

"............." Kouri had to admit, she was taken by surprise when Larry suddenly pointed the dagger to her neck. Her eyes opened wide in shock, her pupils shrank to slits, and her tendrils dropped the leaf, splashing water everywhere. Her four tendrils then swayed the air like octopus' tentacles.

Larry creepily giggled and spoke with sudden courage and spunk. Kouri couldn't help but thought Is this girl insane? Well... most likely. Larry then turned her body around and seemed to be walking away from Kouri.

Kouri put her right hand to her waist, she didn't get what this girl actually wanted to do at all. Turning her back after threatening someone, Kouri could just extended all of her tendrils and choke her neck with the force of twenty pounds of weight. Her frail neck would break like a twig, but she supposed this loony woman had something more to say.

"I demand a spar!"

"..........." Kouri didn't answer her verbally and merely cocked her right eyebrow. A spar? This woman was asking for a spar after suddenly threatening her? If Kouri wasn't a ghost, that cheap shot would possibly tore her neck. Did this woman even realized that? No, she's crazy after all. Oh what to do? Perhaps Kouri could teach her a lesson or two, the hard way.

The woman spoke again, putting on a price. If she won, she would acquire the right of sparring with Kouri anytime she wanted; but if she lost, Kouri could call her whatever she wants. "....." Kouri didn't answer and merely flicked her hair, signalling that she didn't care much about the reward; but the chance of calling this woman with humiliating names didn't sound bad at all.

"Well then?"

Kouri answered the question by shooting her tendril pass the woman and grabbed her twin chakrams then they immdediately flew back to their master, spinning on their axis and floating beside Kouri's each shoulder. She would utterly humiliate this 'warrior' until there was nothing left of her masculine dignity left. After that, Kouri hoped she would return from her path and be a proper lady like all women should be.

The warm and gentle breeze wafted itself through Larry, sending some strands of her hair sideways. However, as she slowly gathered herself with sheer concentration, the breeze stirred into a slightly fierce ambiance; harshly biting her face then shot away a few heaps of dust which made her eyes squint for a short while. She let her left arm slip away from the dagger's hilt, then briefly pivoting it in the air, doing a few pre-battle stretches which would have helped herself and her diminutive body from being attacked by sudden fatigue. As she was about done, she set her eyes on her target, cautiously gazing on each corner where the ghost stood in a search for a clear opening for quick assault. Still, she felt her senses throb with anxiety as she saw the two blades span above the ghost's shoulders. This wasn't the first time she attempted herself to enter a spar. Though there aren't any actual brawls, there were some men whom she courageously offered a challenge before, men who were a lot more experienced than she was but it seems that it eventually ended up rather frustrating and most of all, insulting as she was laughed at and underestimated by one conceited grunt after another.

As the preparations were complete, she held both of her arms together, gripping the hilt of her dagger tightly. She swiveled her left foot, scraping the ground below then sent off a small mound of dust behind. Larry deliberately surveyed the ghost's zone one last time hoping she could be successful with her first attempt. After she caught yet another presence of the warm breeze, she dashed onward on a breakneck pace. From her posture, she was about to thrust with her dagger forward, just as what she had done before. However, as she continued to scamper and brought herself into a closer distance towards the ghost, Larry bent her left leg downward extending it forth while the other leg was poised behind and slanting her upper torso in which her left shoulder was positioned in-front while her right shoulder was at the back. Her left foot impelled abruptly, with her body dropping low, then brushing along the ground attempting to do a sliding tackle as she got herself closer to her target.

The woman seemed to be preparing herself for this hopeless match. Kouri couldn't help but heaved a heavy, unamused sigh and looked to the sky. She hoped that somewhere that Queen Morwen was watching this. She hoped that the Goddess would come and knock the sense into this human for challenging Kouri, one of her children, without the slightest hint on what Kouri was capable of.

Kouri's twin chakrams also shook from left to right as if pitying the woman in front of their master. Then... It began. She did the same clumsy charge she did earlier this day and oh! She suddenly slided down and seemed to be attempting to tackle Kouri's legs. Now that's a good strategy if Kouri was a normal human. There were two major flaws with the woman's move. First, Kouri was unmaterialed; the woman would pass through her as if she was air and second, even if she was materialized; Kouri wasn't affected by a particular thing named 'gravity' so body balance issues were out of the question, what would happen was this woman would crash into Kouri and felt thr chilling touch of the ghost. Kouri's materialization power was now enough to actually cause physical harm.

As expected... *Woooosh!* Larry passed through Kouri as if she was air. Kouri only heaved a sigh and commanded her daggers to shape themselves like drills and... She threw four of her daggers in rapid succession, they sang through the air and were all aimed at Larry's legs. The force and accuracy of the throw was high enough that if Larry didn't have decent acrobatic skills, her legs would be stabbed by four daggers. Kouri didn't stop there, as the four daggers launced to the girl; Kouri commanded her other chakram to slash at her right shoulder. It whirred and made fast slashing motiond to the girl. Kouri was careful as to not aim any vital spots though, she didn't want to murder her; she only wanted to teach her a leason.
