Even the way she dressed defined her physical features. Levissa had a fondness in dresses in the color of white and gray or even black, thus she wore them most of the time under her cloak. Even Levissa herself could not really understand her liking in such fashion. Still, she was a practical girl. During her travels and work, she would wear simple shirts and trousers for maximum mobility. A pendant vial hung around her neck - she never took it off - filled with holy water. It was not a superstition of hers, simply a habit which her mother had taught her. A Gnosis of Dira had been imprinted on the palm of her left hand, a black scythe. She made no effort to hide it, but neither did she show it to everyone.

Early in life, it was clear that Levissa was a natural Spiritist - just like most of the Certiers. She could see what others could not and talk to the restless who did not want to be found. Sooner rather than later, the spirits of the dead were drawn to the little human girl. Obviously, Levissa was scared at first when she truly understood what was happening to her. Slowly, she was taught how to harness her powers and how her magic could help fulfill Dira's wishes. Her family was wealthy, but Levissa was taught not to depend on the money. The spoiled girl she was hammered out of her through her training. She was forced to travel everywhere and without the lavish accommodations provided in her family's home.
Out of the four children, Levissa's magic was the most developed, giving her an edge among her siblings. And so, her father trained her the hardest - teaching her how to fight, to control the Soulmist, to manipulate ghosts through the Lie. Levissa enjoyed ebery moment of it. When she grew of age, Levissa started to travel alone - as per custom of every child in the Certier family. It was in order to broaden the natural order of Dira.
During the seventeenth year of her life, The Certiers were struck by a devastating faith. Marissa, the youngest child of the family, was suddenly gone. No one knew what happened to her. One day she was wondering in the streets of Sylira and never came home. Levissa was called back to her family's dwelling as together they search for the missing girl. Their effort was to no avail. No clues. No witnesses. Nothing. It was like the little Marissa simply vanished into thin air.
Two months of the girl's disappearance, Levissa woke up screaming in her bedroom, unable to remember what had scared her so. Once she had gathered her composure, she sense another presence inside her room. It was Marissa. Marissa's ghost. Levissa was shocked and ran to tell her family. But when she came back, her little sister was gone. Her family feared that Levissa might be under too much stress, but she knew she was not crazy. She saw Marissa - and that means the girl was dead. Only her older brother, Allarde, believed her. Together, they went in search for the truth of their sibling's disappearance. They went to search for the man who was responsible, but he was long gone.(Detailed information will be done via thread)
Levissa left Syliras in a hurry after gathering the information of that man's whereabouts. She did not know whether she will find him, but she certainly will try.

To her family, Levissa was a bright girl - intelligent and curious. She was quick to learn and eager to study. Even since she was young, the middle child was proven to have a rebellious spirit and a sharp tongue. She was not one to be timid and reserved - she was the exact opposite. Her headstrong personality often gets her into trouble, but it also helps her in exploring the world of Spiritism - one cannot be weak-will when going up against ghosts. But she was also brought up by a wealthy couple and she knew how to act properly and charmingly if she needed to.
Unfortunately, to strangers, she seemed like a creepy mysterious who kept to herself. Her dealings with the dead made people think twice of befriending her. Levissa could not blame them, really. She could seem quite odd. She felt the most comfortable near graveyards and lightly talked about death as easy as one would talk about the weather. It was not just that. Being a Spiritist meant that ghosts were naturally pulled to her and they find her from time to time. Most people would feel the aura of death around her. Even though she was bothered by the fact that people preferred to leave her alone, Levissa had gotten used to it. Following the path of those who strayed from death is a lonely journey.
Like any other type of hunters, Levissa had been trained to be quite ruthless. But ghost hunting was not simply about banishing the lost souls. It was about guiding them and that needed compassion. Levissa had seen and heard of many lives - even experience them - that gave her a wider ranger of tolerance and talent in discerning one's action or mannerism. She could be patient - she had to be. Chasing ghosts and making sure they passed onto the Afterlife was no short task.
Sometimes, one might be puzzled of the character of Levissa, for she could easily shift from a personality to the opposite - all depending on the situation. But there is one thing for sure. Levissa held her belief in Dira and death close to her heart.
