Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

The night had just begun in the Bronze Forest. The sun had just vanished from the sky, leaving behind a dark lit up with the many stars. The moon shone in the sky and was slightly tinged blue, beaming down it’s night ray upon the restless forest. An owl hooted, signalling the night had begun like a rooster crowing in the new day had come. The animals of the night began crawling out of the shelters, seeking their meal under the blanket of darkness. Nestled up against a tree was a tent, housing a Symenestra whose day – or night – had begun.
Vadatur had just woken up from the hooting of the owl. He groaned a bit and gave out a yawn as he stretched his body, pulling himself upright. Vadatur rubbed both of his red eyes, removing the matter in his eyes. After he was aware the he was awake, Vadatur did his daily routine. He took of his silk robe and slipped on his night gear. Vadatur put on his silk clothing then fastened his Armour over it, and just before he left his tent he grabbed his bow, quiver and backpack containing a net and ropes. Vadatur was going to catch a meal.
Vadatur left his tent and looked around the area. Although it was dark, Vadatur was able to look around as if it were day. His red eyes shone under the moonlight as they scouted the ground of the forest, searching for anything that would make a good meal. However, the only things around him were night bird and a few bugs.
“Tsk” Vadatur clicked his tongue at the lack of decent prey around. “I guess I better scout about. I better keep off the ground to avoid being seen by my prey” he thought to himself as he removed his sandals, placing them in his backpack.
Vadatur walked towards the tree that stood back his tent as he stowed his bow on his back. He placed on and on one side of the tree and placed the other hand of the other side. The tree was very think, but it wasn’t very thin either. Vadatur placed one of his bare feet onto the trunk of the tree and then the other. He began climbing the tree in a ghoulish like fashion, climbing to the middle section of the tree. Vadatur looked left and right, looking left and right for neighbouring trees. Vadatur moved along the tree tops by using branches that supported Vadatur’s weight. |
