Sayren listened to Ximal closely. He seemed so wise, but yet, he seemed like he couldn't be too much older than her. He maybe as old as her brothers she suspected. Then FLOP. My that was uncomfortable, dropped onto a bed and still no movement from the legs...perfect. She looked up to Ximal. He told her this was her room.
These stone walls that surrounded her with the support of these fortified wooden beams. There was nothing like this in Endrykas. Though it was such a small room, it still felt so safe and secure. This room had probably endured through so much and yet still stood so magnificently.
Then Ximal spoke, bringing to her attention about the uniforms and if she had any major questions, now was the time to ask. So many flooded her mind, she wasn't sure what to ask first. Would he have time for all of it? Slowly, the words began to run from her mouth, "What work around here can I do to earn funds? May I take time to tend to Garel? How would the training work? When can I learn the techniques that you used on me? How can I obtain both food and drink for me and Garel? Is there an herbalist or a healer on the grounds? Or somewhere nearby? Where can I obtain one of those uniforms? How much would each one cost?" One after another, she threw each question at him as they appeared in her mind, not having any sort of organization to them. "Also, is there stables for where Garel can stay? And would there be anything against me going to him and maybe even sleeping out there on some nights? He gets rather lonely without me." Fact of the matter was, she was lonely without him. She had gotten rather close to her strider during her travel from Endrykas to Nyka. He was practically a safety blanket to her. Keeping her warm and secure through the long nights. Realizing she barely even gave pause for Ximal to even respond to her, "I'm so sorry. Its just so much of this is new to me...I've never been to Nyka before, nor have I been under a teacher's tutelage before. I mean, there were those hunting trips with my brothers, but they weren't making me pay to learn from them or anything like that." Realizing her anxiousness in front of this man was growing. Was she overdoing the questions? Was she over-questioning anything at all? Was this all just a product of her uncertainty and second guessing? And then he welcomed her with that grin. She took a moment to recompose herself, well...as recomposed as you could be without the use of your lower torso working along with you. "Was that too many questions, Mas-...Ximal?"
