29th Summer 513 The Myraiik Cliffs Night – Meteor Shower High above the ocean water, Eilea laid, her head tilted to the side, her short hair mingling with Kane's own locks. She could head the waves from below, as she looked up at the sky. “Oh look, there's another one!” Eilea exclaimed, pointing upwards as another shot of light moved across the sky. It was so nice, so simple, spending time with Kane, anymore. Before, there were so many misplaced emotions. Eilea couldn't help but ponder the times where she had tried to attack Kane with her overbearing need for love. Secretly, the Vantha was embarrassed about that whole ordeal. Another shooting star! Eilea giggled and turned to look at Kane. A wide smile formed on her lips. “What would you do if I rolled you over the edge over there?” She sat up with suddenly, a threatening look on her face. “You know I would!” She flirted, but it was playful, friendly. Earlier, they had spent most of the afternoon playing in the water below. Eilea had threatened to push him off the cliffs multiple times. Hell, she had begged him to jump with her, but it never worked. So she was just itching to make him take a fall into the water. But considering that the sun had already set, and there was such a spectacular show up above, she wouldn't have the heart to actually do it. After getting a certain response from her best friend, Eilea laid her head back down and looked up at the stars once again. When sunset had hit, and they had both noticed the shooting stars, they had agreed to spend the night talking and watching the sky. The Vantha couldn't think of a better way to spend her time. Another star shot across the sky. “This is perfect.” Eilea began, keeping her gaze at the night sky. “It reminds me of being a child.” She let out a sigh. “You know, in Avanthal the biggest thing to be seen, especially at night, when the sky was clear, and even when it wasn't, was Morwen's lights.” She smiled to herself and closed her eyes, imagining the colors moving through the sky. “Usually it was too cloudy, or even snowy to see the stars, though. This is so neat.” Content and happy, Eilea continued looking up at the meteor shower, with her best friend to one side, her bow and quiver of arrows to the other, within arms reach in case anything unexpected was to happen. |
