Best Starting Spot?

Which town would be the best starting location? Perhaps a place with the most amount of active players?

Weeeell, most of the places are great, but for most players... Syrliras is always at the top. However, there are quite a few other good places. Avanthal is amazing (biased of course

) and a variety of other cities. You should read over the list, and find the one that A) you like best, and B) Fits your character the best

Just kidding. There are a lot of super active human centered areas including: Syliras, Zeltiva, and Ravok. I wouldn't say that there is a 'best' location. All of the cities have great benefits and some drawbacks.

Beware misspelled advice.

Start in the city that most suits your PC. Once you decide you like the theme of a city, look around and and make sure its active. Don't go on a bunch of advice by strangers. They don't know you. Only you know you.
