Grant is cut from average stock, leaving him in the middle ground of handsome and plain. He isn't powerful or overly muscular, but he's managed to stay healthy. His eyes are what he thinks of as his most striking feature. Blue like Mathews Bay, similar to his Svefran mother's, but darker. The rest of him is a carbon copy of his father. Grant goes out of his way to keep clean, a habit from his work as a doctor, and he appears to always be calm and well put together. Mainly because he is calm and well put together, most of the time. He's worn his brown hair in various styles over the years, but lately keeps it short and pushed back away from his face. Shaving is something he usually skips until the hairs on his jaw start to itch, so Grant often has some stubble or a well groomed goatee. Whichever he is in the mood for. His clothing always has to compliment itself. He dresses nicely, but not grandly, often in linens and cottons that are always well cared for and clean. Grant goes for a sharp, professional look to match his personality and hygiene. Most of his shirts are long sleeved with crisp collars, so when he works on a hot day he rolls his sleeves up to his elbows, but normally that's as casual as he gets. Personality Anyone can count the number of times Grant has been angry just on both hands. He's a naturally calm man, ever since boyhood. Years of study and experience have taught him there are more important things to be done than waste valuable energy being upset over minor occurrences. He is a man of values, as well. His father raised him to be polite and open with everyone, except when given good reason to do otherwise. Grant's apparently limitless patience helps considerably with the latter. He craves knowledge daily, and goes out of his own way to learn helpful new skills and valuable information. Striving to be a useful contribution to society is also something his father instilled in him at a young age. One of his greatest pleasures in life has always been learning, especially when beneficial to his medical career. So far he follows in his father's doctoral footsteps, apprenticing with him as a child before moving on and practicing small-time on his own. Grant tends to hole himself up with a book until satisfied, blocking out the world until his hunger to know is sated for a few more chimes. It's almost a flaw, in a way. It's one of the reasons he's never found the time to settle down, or really even had a desire to. So he definitely can't be called a fighter, and he can't even really be called a lover.
