Mamuro entered the Training Gallery in the late evening just after Syna's light had been wiped from the sky. He slithered his way along in dhani form, long arms extended and his shadow, created by the radiating glow stones, seemed to crawl across the cave walls and reach areas well before he did. Mamuro looked to start mischief on this day, and as always he had someone in mind and a plan as well. The dhani was a child of the shadows it seemed, and he was always lurking about and watching others. He learned a lot that way, as prideful dhani were always up and about finding more ways to stroke their egos.
All one would need to be is silent, watchful, and listen. Mamuro had a dhani in mind for his torture, a rather large dhani male, who was known for bragging that he was one of the best wrestlers in the nest. He was also known for trying to impress Mamuro's sister. This alone didn't bother him, but the male dhani showed him no respect, and that wouldn't do. He slithered his way closer and watched as the dhani in question was already in a match with another, and just as expected, he was showing off.
"What a fool thiss one iss." Mamuro commented.
"I sshall sshow him the meaning of defeat.. HA HA HA." he added, and licked his lips.
He watched the match for a time longer, observing the way that his soon-to-be opponent moved around and the way that he wrestled. The dhani was slightly bigger than the other he faced and would use the size to his advantage as best he could. Mamuro slithered closer towards the raised platform where a few dhani women were gathered and watching with great amusement. This was obviously a plot to impress the woman as it was the job of every male dhani in the nest. From the looks of the fight, bigger was going to win, his moves were more disciplined and he grappled more than he threw punches.
"Pfffhsss...That is eassy, anyone can easily take out another who hadn't the slightly idea of what they are trying to do."
Mamuro said in a low tone, though loud enough for the women to hear. They glanced at him, whispered amongst each other before one stepped forward to speak for them. "And I take it that you can do better..little man?"
Just as he was about to retort, and a very witty one at that, the fight ended with a loud splash as the smaller of the two landed headed first in the watery spring below. The triumphant dhani stood tall, his hands raised high above his head as he paraded around the raised platform. "Is there anyone else that would wish to test themselves against my strength?" The dhani asked in a bold and cocky tone.
"I will..." Mamuro answered and cocked his head to the side as he stared upward at the other dhani. "I will face you and I will destroy you." he added with a sinister smile. The challenge had been made, and the women were all watching, would he except?
