I am quite amused this didn't end up in a "young man takes responsibility for young woman" scenario. The dialogue got me gripped. I was expecting they were going to be able to escape the notice of Lorelle's parents that her father's entrance took me by surprise!

Lorelle, the points in leadership were for trying to take the initiative on the situation with Meville. I like that Lorelle is not the weak, whiny type of woman, and I also like how it shows so clearly in this thread.

Meville responded like a scolded puppy that I cannot help but laugh despite the tension brewing in the thread. You have a knack for comical writing. It's not easy to insert palatable humor in intense scenarios but you pulled it off quite well.
