"Ah! C-come back!" Rena held out her hands when the white wolf backed away from her to a tree. "Hey, it's okay..." She tried approaching again, wearing the most gentle expression she could project. Rena would really like to have a canine Kelvic here to translate her words.

"Fueh?" Kouri's eye widened a bit in surprise, she knew most humans - especially strangers- didn't like being touched by her chilling body but she didn't expect Wulvenhart to be one; especially since they knew each other and the blazing heat made her touch actually helpful for once. "I'm sorry..." Kouri understood however, that you couldn't assume things with a calm person such as her, so she just nodded and whispered her apology.

Wulvenhart's philosophical view on the concept of names were new to her, Kouri always thought that when you got a name, that name would stick to you forever. Like how her Vantha Hold was Snowsong and her full name was actually 'Fubuki Kouri Snowsong', her eccentric father just didn't like to use the rigid naming policy of the Vanthas; but the 'Snowsong' name was still there.

"What is... real? Isn't all of this is-" Kouri tried to explain her views, but she then remembered her current state. Now that she thought about it, everything she knew as real fell apart when she realized beings like... phantoms exist and she was one of them for Morwen's sake. "I... I'm real, right Madame?" The question just came out of the blue, it was her thoughts spoken out loud.

"......" Kouri hugged her knees and stared into the river before them, Wulvenhart was very humble by the looks of it. She saw herself as an ordinary human, but that what made her wonderful. Not many people could accept that we're actually beings governed by Fate, maybe even the Divine themselves. "Madame, you're wonderful... I just know it, perhaps... you're destined for greatness. As for me, ehehe~ I think I'll stretch my stay in this world until all evil people are dead" It was a far-fetched goal, but it was not impossible in her mind. Someday, perhaps her own ethereal hands would end the life of Rhysol for Morwen's name.

[Sunset Falls] A Show of Projection (Fallon)

Lying flat on her back, Fallon listened to the to the words of the ghost as she thought through the words of the squire. It was clear it had thrown the creature off thought for a moment, and perhaps instilled a sense of doubt in her. For a moment she simply stared upon the blue summer sky, inhaling deeply. It was tempting to fall asleep, but she was not going to allow herself to do that. Not with the ghost about, or even out in the open of a place like this. Her lip curled.
“I think, I doubt, and therefore I am,” Fallon propped herself up and rested upon her elbow and looked upon the ghost “And you are doing the same. There for you are. If you believe my words that is. Which quite frankly is entirely up to you to decide.”

She gave a shrug, and she continued to stretch herself out. Her back arched as the ghost continued to talk so freely about herself, ears twitching at key moments. She wished to rain death upon those who were evil, a goal that a child would indeed think of. One who was perhaps a little naïve, and unknowing of the world around her. For Fallon knew that evil was generally not without reason. So Fallon posed a question to Fubuki.
“The question is however is how do you define evil? Or more over what is evil? Everyone has a different definition after all, much like with what is wrong or right. It varies from each individual and location. For what could be classed as normal could be classed as horrible in another. For example, Sunberth sells slaves where as Syliras detests the very notion of it,” Fallon cleared her throat “So how would you define it? Evil and things that are wrong?”

There was a flick of the hand as the squire laid herself down again “You can however just call me a silly old hag and tell me to be quiet. That also goes too.” Orvin for the meanwhile let out a final yap, before taking a quick dash towards his master with his ears flat. It was not long until he was firmly nudging Fallon’s side and trying to wriggle up closely to her as if to hide. She gave a sigh, and rubbed the coarse fur a low tone escaping as her fingers massaged and served to calm “Hush… it’s fine Orvin… it’s fine… I’m here… hush…”

[Sunset Falls] A Show of Projection (Fallon)

"Y-yes, I'm here that means I'm real! Ehehe~ Thank you, Madame" Wulvenhart's words filled her with reassurance, if she's here that meant she was alive and not some kind of illusion. What kind of illusion has a mind of their own anyway?

Fallon's views on the topic of evil also were completely new to Kouri, she viewed that good and evil were like black and white slates, clear and defined. What was good and what was evil should be obvious. She tried to counter Wulvenhart's questions with answers her limited wisdom could offer "Evil is well, evil people of course, Madame. Like slavers, bandits, tyrants! They're evil and deserve to die. It doesn't really vary, Madame... from what you said, that means Sunberth is filled with evil people! Slavers deserve to be executed and ehehe~ Syliras if filled with good people, like uhm... you!" Most little girls could only talk about defeating evil people, but Kouri had the actual power of ending someone's life.

"Ah! Noooo!" Rena was extremely disappointed when the white wolf ran away from her. "Ah..." She looked down to the ground and vanished from her location, appearing right beside Kouri. "Ehe... it's okay, Rena... perhaps Orvin just isn't used too... uhm... beings like us..." Most animals did as well, except few ones like Akilia's dog. It was a rather matching sight with the ghost comforting her little sister and the squire comforting her wolf companion.

Fallon shook her head in disagreement. Although the immediate logic of the ghost was sound, she had not thought it through. Not everyone in Sunberth was evil; even she knew that from experience, it was just in turnmoil. And it was the same turmoil that drove them to do such things. She spoke once more “Now… why do you think bandits become bandits? Because they feel like it? Or because of other reasons? What of the families of those bandits, because they are associated with something evil do they deserve to die too? Or perhaps the family is the reason to drive the bandit to such ways,” the squire gave a shrug “And good? I can think of people who would disagree with that assessment. But I do have morals.”

Orvin by this point had managed to slide behind the back of his master, and laid flat against the floor. His dark eyes stared intently at the ghosts, his ears plastered against the side of his skull, but he was silent now. She ran her fingers across the fur, a low hum escaping her lips whilst she tended to him. Her fingers stroked around his jaw, knotting in with the coat and sliding away. She had to keep a straight face and a firm guard, for who knew what was going through the mind of the creature at present. And although it would have been perhaps good to stay put and allow him to grow accustomed to more ethereal beings, the squire could not help but feel that should he begin to react badly that there would be nothing she could do about it.

Thought passed through her face, fingers scratching at Orvin one last time before she forced herself to rise. Stretching herself out she regarded Javil for a moment, and then the ghost. Her lips pursed, and her gaze turned down to the nervous Orvin on the ground. What to do? What would be best? Fallon released a yawn and grasped the reigns of Javil “I think it would be best that I be off, the day is young but I am tired and wish for my bed. So unless there is anything else miss Fubuki…”

OOCI think this will be my last post for the thread, Fallon. :)

Feel free to post a final reply or just PM me for confirmation and I will post it for grading.

It has been fun! :D Though... I didn't get my OOC goal of getting Fallon comfortable enough to talk about magic with Kouri. :(( Perhaps another time. :)

"Hnnnn..." Kouri slightly pouted her cheeks in childish annoyance, Madame Wulvenhart seemed to not get what Kouri meant about good and evil. Wulvenhart's views were too complex for something as simple as good and evil, Kouri decided to explain her points once again "Well, Madame... bandits become bandits because they are evil people, of course! Some people are just evil and they want to do evil things. And naaaah, the families of those bandits are not evil, the evil ones are the bandit themselves. Though... I pity their family for associating themselves with evil people."

Kouri flicked her hair once more, a confident expression on her face. She was sure Wulvenhart would understand her now "Well, if the family is the reason for their evil that means the family is evil too! It's simple, Madame. Right, Rena?" Kouri rubbed Rena's hair and briefly turned her attention to her little sister who answered with a nod.

"Eh? Some people disagree that you're a good person? I wonder if they're evil people..." Kouri's upbringing combined with her sense of justice and lack of wisdom didn't allow her to acknowledge the grey or neutral area or the fact that a good person might not be a good person from another perspective.

Rena just kept silent as her sister talked about her views with Wulvenhart, her mind was finding various ways on how to make Orvin became comfortable with her.

"Oh? You're leaving, Madame?" Kouri saw Wulvenhart let out a tired yawn and grabbed the reins of her black horse. Yes, from the look of her eyes, Wulvenhart might need some rest and Kouri wouldn't deprive her of that. "Eeeh... there's nothing more, Madame. I just hope you understand that it's good and evil are not uhm... as complex as you think it is and uuh... I wish you have a good day, rest well!" Kouri waved her hand, gesturing a good-bye for the squire. She would stay here in the Falls and play with Rena until sundown.
