‘a dog? Did he know she was a Kelvic?’ she thought to herself, she just beamed and placed the wrapped meat on the counter.
Astrid’s home was nothing to fancy. It was a three room apartment with a kitchen, a lounge room and a bedroom. The sitting room was the odd room out of the three because it was filled with old tattered books, of which Astrid couldn’t read but still collected as she found on the streets or sometimes Shayra stolen from people.
“A, draykus? Did I say that right?”
Astrid frowned slightly at the word, That example is curious looks but not this odd feeling… It was almost like Attraction?
“Anyway! Take a seat while I feed Shayra”
Astrid walked past the chair and turned to smile at her guest
“Won’t be long I promise”
As she disappeared into the kitchen, which had an open doorway so she could watch Shayra, she felt Fox’s eyes watching her from time to time, smiling to herself she unwrapped the meat and begun to cut it.
“Who’s the man?”
Astrid just ignored the pups question, she turned to look back at Fox to see him looking straight at her. Grabbing the plate she called over Shayra.
“If we wait for her to finish we can take her with us, if you’d like?”Astrid

Fox sat down and looked at the books on the couch while Astrid and her pet went into the kitchen, which wasn't really a separate room in this place. He looked up at Astrid when she spoke. "Sure, it'll be good to give her some exercise anyway" he said. "So...what race are you?" he asked. The strangeness of Astrid wasn't just the feelings he was having, but also the same strangeness he had regarding a woman he had met back home in Endrykus, almost half a season ago.

Astrid stopped in her tracks.
“I’m ah…”
Astrid had never been ashamed to mention her race before was it fear that Fox would reject her for being an animal… would he scream in fear? Throw her own books at her. Astrid ignored the thoughts and smiled nervously at her Guest
“I’m a Kelvic…”
She murmured almost silently, when she realised that he hadn’t heard her Astrid repeated it louder. She looked at some of the books next to Fox, for the title all she saw was lines that made no sense shaking her head she went to the arm chair and sat down.
“She shouldn’t be to long, Shayra Eats pretty fast”
“Hey! I heard that!”
Astrid laughed at the pups reply and met the eyes of Fox

"A Kelvic? You mean the animals that turn into humans, or how ever it goes?" Fox said, looking intently at Astrid. He had heard of Kelvics, how they bonded with people, how they had an animal form as well as human. He was lost in thought for a second, then shook his head slightly, and looked back at Astrid.

“Yes, an Animal that turns into a human…”
Astrids ebony eyes raised to meet Fox’s for a moment before she shifted her gaze to a pile of book that were going to tip over. Rushing to them she halved the pile to make it more stable.
Shayra came bouncing out of the Kitchen almost smiling until she saw that neither of us were talking. Raising her head up Astrid met her guests eyes without fear.
“If that is a problem I understand, it tend to unnerve a few”
Astrid stood up and placed her hands on her hips in attempt to so it didn’t matter what he thought…but it did, so very much

"Oh, no it doesn't matter at all...I can't explain it but I feel a strange...attachment to you, if it makes sense" Fox said. He stood and walked to Astrid so he was standing right in front of her. He looked into her eyes and smiled. He then looked at Shayra, then back to Astrid. "She seems to be finished" he said, his smile never fading from his face. He held his hand out to her. "Shall we go?" he asked.

So he felt it to, the thought relieved Astrid, So she wasn’t losing it. She looked down at his hand for a second before holding her hand to pause him and rushing into her room to grab her Jacket.
Almost skipping back, Astrid grinned at Fox and grabbing his hand and turning to Shayra
“Behave okay?”
Laughing as Shayra’s eyes widened when she realised Astrid wasn’t going to carry her like usual almost running to the door she scratched at it happily tail wagging. Turning to Face Fox Astrid smiled
“Off we go?”

"Indeed we shall" Fox said, holding Astrid's hand gently. He opened the door and walked out into the street. "Where shall we go first?" he asked. He looked at the birds sitting on a nearby wall. He didn't know what type they where, but it didn't matter. He was walking with Astrid, and they had this strange connection. He felt very happy, almost happier then he was when he had his twin. For this moment, life was good.

Shayra was excited to be running around, she ran circles around Fox and Astrid, who just smiled down at her.
“The university is nice at this time or even the docks…”
Astrids voice trailed off as she turned her head to watch Fox. With the both of them stand Astrid realised that Fox was shorter than her by at least four foot but in her current confused feelings about this man Astrid saw it as a perfection that just made him more handsome. Shaking her head to distract herself she watched her beloved pup
“How long have you been in Zeltiva…Fox?”
Astrid watched as Shayra stopped in front of her but for some reason didn’t stop walking. Astrid mentally groaned as she began to fall, a great way to make an impression.

"Let's go down to the docks" Fox said. The height difference, while a little bit noticeable, didn't bother him much. "I've been here for 2 days" he said. He had arrived in Zeltiva on the 55th, and what a journey it was for him, traveling across the Sea of Grass, up the Kabrin Road, and into Zeltiva. He still remembered what he had seen and done along the road, well the things of impotence anyway. "What about you?" he asked.
