As Ricky finished buttoning his jacket a sincere smile filled his expression, Castor not only said he was interested in further lessons but he also mentioned the one thing that garenteed him to be an good friend. "Thanks mate. Really means a lot to me." He nodded in appreciation before Castor left, a wide smile on his face as he watched Castor return to the thick of the city. He felt happily content knowing Castor had taken a much different path, the road he travelled would likely change him just as dramatically as it changed Ricky. For all he knew, Castor was already on the verge of a change. A transition into something more, something that only fate could only hope to conspire. Their friendship was ever more solid now, strengthened by the ability to connect and bond on a different level than before. Ricky could only chuckle as he thought abour Castor's words before he left. "Friends. Yer right 'bout that mate. They're there when we ya need 'em most, and it's 'bout time I try and let them be there for me. My guard will only drop for those I trust, but no matter what I'll always be ready to stand and protect." He lauhed a bit more as he found his thoughts a bit silly, how strange he would sound if he admitted this openly. Still it was true as was his heart, and neither would stray from the path theh led him on. Ricky found that the rest of his shift would be quite easier, his day had been made after the little break he spent with a good friend.
