Appearance

Thick, light brown curls fall haphazardly around her shoulders, complimenting her clear, caramel colored skin, darkened by the strong Cyphrus sun. Arundel's eyes are the color of fresh spring grass, wild and inquisitive with a hint of mischief. The harsh grasslands banished all traces of her childhood years ago, leaving her 5'10" body hardy and strong, built to survive the challenging life among the roaming clans. Her hair was once far longer, but an accident involving her young sister and a torch burned half of it off, leaving her without much to work with. So now, Arundel just wears it loose until it's once more long enough to be styled in the intricate braids she favored that match her mother's.

She is shapely and muscular, fit from handling horses and a menagerie of other animals all her life, with callouses in all the places befitting an equestrian. There is a scar under her left eye, small but bold, where one of her older brothers hit her with a stick while playing as children, and another on the right side of her nose from the same incident. When it comes to her clothing, she tries to plan accordingly, alternating between pants and shirts, and dresses, whatever would be the most comfortable or acceptable in any given situation. To give homage to her clan, Arundel usually wears at least a little dash of purple every day.

Personality

Arundel is an energetic, adventurous, and strong-willed woman. She prefers to take action instead of sitting and thinking of what the consequences of those actions might be. Growing up with many brothers has made her willing and able to stand up for herself and her baby sister, sometimes making her come off as cold, when in reality she's just unafraid to assert her dominance and opinion with fiery words or her own whipcord strength. She is fiercely loyal to her family, especially mother and little sister, protecting the latter from anything she deems undesirable. She can be very proud, almost sassy, when it comes to when she thinks, or really knows she deserves respect. Especially from men, and especially the ones in her Pavilion.

She loves her freedom, sometimes going to unnecessary heights to remind everyone that she is her own woman. Arundel strives to be one of the best at everything she does, being a perfectionist, often driving her to shoulder more than she can handle on her own. Her moods can suffer or benefit greatly from this, depending on the outcome of her work. This strive for perfection is fueled by her wish to become a member of the Watch. And so she works diligently on her standings amongst the clans, competing for positions of authority and honor, so that one day her dream of becoming a respected warrior, leader, and master equestrian will be realized.
