![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Excuse me sir, but what did you say about my art?" Basic Information Race: Inarta Birthday & Age : 485, Winter (Age 25) Gender: Male Physical Description Ventus has the usual odd hair color of the Inarta, it being a blood red color. The hair is long, flowing a bit past his shoulders, though in the front, it is usually braided with golden beads along the strands. It definitely has somewhat of a wind blown look. He has a deep blue eye color, which Ventus himself feels is beautiful. As an Inarta, his height is fairly average at 5'7, though he is not exactly what most Inarta would call physically fit, though by some standards he could be. Being more of an outside person, which most would say contradicts his physique, he is usually found wearing the outside garb of his race, that being his long black overcoat - or or commonly called a Katinu, reddish Sontav, and red leather boots. Even when inside, he will normally wear these and would be itching to go back outside. He also has an unusual pale skin causing him to be easily burned which is another reason he would prefer to keep his Katinu on, which makes him very confusing to most people once people know more of him. His face is usually clean shaved. Character Concept *Personality: Ventus has a personality that would seem to contradict most other Inarta as he is definitely not brave, but has a strong sense of self preservation. It doesn't matter to much, because until he speaks more to people that he doesn't know well, he won't know how bad his manners are, being born in Wind Reach. Under most circumstances, he will talk non stop, and it makes it hard for him to lie, though he would love to learn how in order to obtain things easier. *Ethics: Surprisingly, even though he is a very happy and outspoken person, his morals are horrible. He has a very low value on life, and if something could be done the easy way, he would prefer doing it. In most cases, Ventus would definitely put someone else in danger over them by saying something like, "Here is money, protect me," and then running. *Likes: He likes a lot of things, especially glassblowing. When he obtains the materials, he would do it in a heart beat in order to sell it, or just give it away, though, he prefers money. Though, he hates hunting, he loves the process of getting ready for it, such as the fletching and finding the animal. He loves most animals, except the mythological ones he hears in stories. He fears they might be real, and they may be. *Dislikes: Hunting, Mythological creatures, and he has a fear of death. He also dislikes when people say bad things about his artwork and it takes a lot for him to resist punching them. He definitely dislikes pain in all forms. Character History Ventus started with a normal Wind Reach life, his mother being an Artisan and his Father riding eagles. Though, he did not know them well, in fact that is all he can really remember of them. He did, however, have something like a Godfather who taught him the art of glassblowing at the early age of 10. It was there that he learned the lores of the greatest glass-makers and the many designs. Though, he was more into abstract, making unusual shaped things, calling it an art, though it never sold. At the age of 13, when out hunting with his godfather and other Inarta on birds, his godfather caught a stray arrow to the arm, and both went back to see if it could be treated. Unfortunately, it could not, and that was when he received his heirloom, his beautiful oak longbow. He gave up on the eagle after the hunt, and was never really able to get one to accept him after that. At 14 was when he started work as a glassmaker, though it rarely sold so he worked long hours, through the night, attempting to make whatever the higher class wanted him to. In most cases, it turned out like something very abstract, though he loved to do it. When he had the spare time, he would roam around where he could watching the animals. That was his life until he turned 21 and one drunk Inarta decided to make an extremely rude comment on his glasswork, and that comment ended up with a direct punch to the nose which was the main cause of him deciding to leave. He decided that he would journey to the far east, to a city he had heard of from the occasional trader: Training (Skills, Arcana, Gnosis, Lore) *Skills -Glassworks 20/100 (10 + the 10 racial) -Riding(Horse) 11/100 -Archery 10/100 -Wilderness Survival 11/100 -Long Bow 5/100 -Bowing and Fletching 5/100 -Falling 1/100 -Stealth 1/100 *Lores -Lore of Inartan Glass Designs -Lore of Legendary Glass-Makers -Suicides, Wolves, and Bears: Oh My! |
