"They don't seem to mind me and I don't mind them!" She said pointedly. The raven-woman didn't know it, but wolves and ravens got along quite well. The packs of these wild canines seemed to prefer the company of ravens to other avians, though Yon could never have explained precisely why. If she were to guess, however, it would likely be because the air-cousins were very aware of their surroundings and could keep an easy look-out for more dangerous predators. They wouldn't so readily share a kill, but they would not chase the birds away typically. "I don't like the cats much, but they're easier to scare away. I have a some hair at my roost from this one I saw late last season! Stupid thing tried to claw my tree but I told him no and he didn't listen so I took some of his hair from his tail and he ran away."
To the remarks of her indepedent speed, the girl nodded understanding, staring up at the older woman from her vantage. "Yea, I know humans can't run fast. They're slow and clusmy and don't have very good balance and you can almost blow them over with a breath of wind!" Yon exhaled for emphasis but flinched when the yeowl of the creature was heard again, her legs ready to take off it it got any closer. The horse must have sensed it too for its anxiety level rose. Looking off in the direction of the noise, the kelvic chewed at her lower lip uncertainly before turning back to Amelia and eyeing the extended hand. This one was different than Garron had been. She was smaller, for one, and she sang.
"You're not going to take me back to the researchers are you? I don't wanna go back there, I like it out here, even if it kinda scares me like when the sky became like the lake and screamed a lot." The girl shuddered then jumped visibly. It was the closest cry of that thing yet, and now that she didn't have the reliability of her animal form to fly from, the changeling was all the more nervous. Following Amelia might not be such a bad idea afterall!
The girl reached for the others hand,, using it as leverage for getting on the horse (a difficult chore that required combination pulling on both women's parts.)
