This shining population center is considered the jewel of The Sylira Region. Home of the vast majority of Mizahar's population, Syliras is nestled in a quiet, sprawling valley on the shores of the Suvan Sea. [Lore]
Merchants, sailors, and travelers around the world have heard of the hospitality to be found at The Broken Casket. While it is certainly not of the same caliber as the White Swan Inn, The Broken Casket has served as the open arms and hearty welcome to many a weary seafarer for many years. Built by Mortimer “The Kraken” Krakow, a fiery old man who once sailed the seas of Mizahar, he settled down in Syliras when he met his wife the widow of a former Knight of Sylir. Famous for its constant entertainment and Mortimer’s delectable red spiced potatoes, The Broken Casket, while not the fanciest of places certainly serves as a proper place to call home while one does their business in Syliras.

NPC Info :
Mortimer Krakow, The Kraken
The owner of the simple but comfortable establishment, he is a man who despite his reputation is actually quite approachable. He delights in entertaining guests around the hearth of The Broken Casket with stories of adventure and mystery involving sailors at sea or grand heroes of olden times. If brought to anger however, it is best to avoid his cane. Mortimer may be old, but he loves his business and tends to it as if it were a child of his own. Along with his wife Selma and son Marcus, he keeps the place going and the people there happy.
