At the very crest of Shinyama Peak sits the Twuele or the never-ending tower, a mighty testament to power of Lhavit. The tower spans eight floors (including the ground floor), its skyglass rooftop straining hungrily toward the sky. At the very top resides Zintila herself, her chamber aptly named the Astronomer’s Paradise, as it is in part an astrodome. The tower is also the home of the Constellations, their housing settled directly at the structure’s base. Their primary function separates into two parts: the formation of skyglass and construction using it, and upholding the law.
The Akka are those of Zintila’s followers that are blessed with her mark, the gifted and few who can construct with skyglass. They are the resident civil engineers, mainly found on the Tower’s ground floor. Drafting rooms are found along the cavernous hallways, each lent to two of those marked. They are those who dream of restoring Zintila’s former glory and they use skyglass to reflect that goal. Akka are known to worship beauty and are insatiable dreamers. They aim toward a mortal representation of the Ukalas so that Zintila might feel truly at home.
The Seiza are the judicial branch, their focus on law and order. Not all Seiza are granted Zintila’s power, but those of the Constellation not interested in construction tend to seek this particular route. They maintain the first seven floors of the Twuele, running the reception desk and maintaining the courtrooms for each floor. While lower ranking members act as secretaries or bailiffs, the elite act as judges, an honor earned only by time. Zintila appoints each on their merit, so nearly every judgment is sound.
The Tenya work less within the tower, and more within the city itself; they are responsible for spreading the faith and religion of Zintila outside of the Constellations. They have no official floor, but will meet where necessary, sometimes using drafting rooms on the ground floor for general discussions.
The first seven floors account for each facet of the law.

The first seven floors account for each facet of the law.
- 1st Floor (Ground Floor): The first floor is the largest; it includes the reception room, the drafting rooms and the civil claims court. It also contains a scarce few holding cells for those awaiting trial deemed too dangerous to roam the streets of Lhavit. It also includes the personal rooms of a few higher-ranking Constellations who choose to reside in the tower, set at the back of the floor behind a locked set of double doors, to which only Zintila and some of the Constellations have a key for.
2nd Floor: The second is for the more egregious acts – thievery, assault, and murder are dealt with on this floor.
3rd Floor: The third addresses unlawful and dangerous use of magic, very often taking summoners and reimancers to task.
4th Floor: The fourth floor solely focuses on large-scale crime such as rioting, treason, and local gangs.
5th Floor: The tower’s fifth floor is a meeting place, known as the Seat of the Divine. This is where Talora, Aysel, and Zintila seek counsel. It is also known as the Mercy Seat, where pardons are typically granted.
6th Floor: The sixth floor is the execution floor, reserved from the most heinous of crimes. Those who are proven to have murdered an Okomo are immediately sent here without question. Executions are not overly common, and the ones that do occur are attended by Zintila, Aysel, and Talora; they serve as reminders of the burden and heavy choices that come with ruling.
7th Floor: The seventh floor is the palatial quarters of Talora and Aysel, separated as the Doors of the Sun and Moon on the left and right respectively; a grand skyglass staircase sits between the two doors. These stairs lead to the top floor.
8th Floor (Top Floor): The Astronomer's Paradise, the personal quarters of Zintila, resides on the top floor. It has been said that Ionu cast the starry sky into her ceiling after losing a game of cards. Upon entering the domain of Zintila, the glorious heavens seem to shine eternal. The swirling radiance casts a gentle shine onto all it touches, reflections of the skyglass bathing each object in a silvery glow. That which is not made of the skyglass is made of clear quartz, the combined effect truly breathtaking. Rainbows dance amongst the swirling heavens and across the floor. The few, fortunate souls brought here are granted the utmost honour.
Aysel
Name: Aysel
Race: Ethaefal (Night)/Benshira (Day)
Birthdate: 0 AV
Birthplace: The Ahger Ocean
Occupation: Co-ruler of Lhavit
Gnosis: 2 marks of Zintila (Akarni level 2), 1 mark of Leth (Telepathy level 1)
Skills: Interrogation - 43, Mountaineering - 38, Rhetoric - 64, Weapon (Dao Sword) - 51, Wilderness Survival (Forest, Mountains) - 32
Languages: Common (Fluent), Shiber (Basic)
Aysel seems a cynical character at first, always throwing about quick-witted remarks in a way that makes one doubt whether they are even jokes or not. Sure enough, the Ethaefal is almost always joking, an attitude that leads many Lhavitians to doubt his position until the time comes for Lhavit to face a problem. At this point, Aysel reacts with such speed and composure that his 500 years of experience leading the city becomes painstakingly clear. He does not argue with those who challenge his authority; he simply waits, and lets time show the fruits of a decision well-made.
When his presence is not required during the day, Aysel enjoys offering a helping hand to expeditions in the Misty Peaks, finding that aid is always needed when one ventures too far from the city's welcoming gates.
During his nighttime reign, Aysel stands at an impressive height of 7'2”. This does not even include his horns, which rise vertically from his temples. His silver-eyed gaze is reminiscent of the moon itself, surrounded by wispy hair that changes color with the seasons along with his horns. He wears dark, undecorated robes that contrast with his pale skin, which seems to almost glow with the reflection of moonlight.
In his earthbound form, Aysel wanders the streets of Lhavit as a Benshira human with an under-average height and skinny build. Clad in all-black as he is in Ethaefel form, this man is almost a shadow save for his sky-blue eyes which stare through people in the same calm, confidant manner of his moonlit form.
Old as the Valterrian itself, the newly fallen Ethaefal barely had any time to put himself together before Leth called upon his aid, taking little time to explain the damage done to his celestial home that caused the Ethaefal's fall in the first place. He directed him to the stranded fishing village that now found itself amidst thousands of rising peaks, asking him to follow him as he had once done in a past life. The Ethaefal complied and led the people to safety along with Talora, a Syna-born Ethaefel who found herself in a similar predicament. Though the two were young and confused, they hid their unsureness from the humans, who were amazed by their surreal beauty and immediately put them in positions of leadership.
The beginnings of Talora and Aysel's relationship was tumultuous to say the least.; but years passed, and Aysel and Talora eventually learned to work well together and coordinate their leadership effectively. Though they do not show many signs of friendship, it is clear that immortality they share has brought them closer together.

Talora
Name: Talora
Race: Ethaefal (Day)/Human (Night)
Birthdate: 0 AV
Birthplace: The Ahger Ocean
Occupation: Co-ruler of Lhavit
Gnosis: 2 marks of Syna (Inavalti level 2), 1 mark of Zintila (Akarni level 1)
Skills: Gardening - 47, Herbalism - 30, Leadership - 98, Medicine - 30, Shielding - 62
Languages: Common (Fluent)
While Aysel receives respect and admiration from the population, Talora is on the receiving end of an enormous amount of love and devotion from her people. This is because she has an endless reserve of love to give, a virtue that has proved to also be a flaw in her lifetime. Even after 500 years of existence, the hopeful Ethaefal still has a heavy heart when making the more grim, realistic decisions needed to keep the city on its feet. Which isn't to say that she hasn't learned, for she can be commanding and stern when she needs to be.
Talora is almost a sun on her own when in her Ethaefal form, skin glowing with highlights of gold and shades of rose, her hair falling in waves down past her shoulders, with warm golden eyes. Her horns are delicate in appearance, moving horizontally along her head like a celestial hair ornament, with locks often caught gracefully among their curves and angles. She often wears subtle floral patterns on her dresses, though she never allows herself to be extravagant in her choice of clothing.
During the hours of night, Talora is reduced to the form of a doe-eyed girl of short, pale blonde hair. She looks as though she is barely out of her teenage years, freckled and imperfect. Even in this lesser form, Talora has garnered love by spending the night tending to the fluorescent gardens around the city, always helping those she passes without hesitation.
Legend among the Lhavitian people claim Talora to have supposedly been the very first Ethaefal to slip through the cracks of Syna's damaged abode. She arrived on the shores of Mizahar naïve and scared, and when Syna appeared to her after what felt like an eternity wandering aimlessly, she expected her goddess to aid her, to bring her back to her celestial home. Instead, Syna instructed her to guide a lost tribe in Kalea to safety among the newly formed Misty Peaks. Anxious at first, she slowly gained confidence upon seeing how much the people relied on her, how they blindly trusted her simply because she was a divine beauty sent by a goddess.
Working with Aysel, however, was a difficult task. He constantly berated her for being too soft and gentle, the worst about his negative comments being that he was often right. Talora would always choose that which brought the least harm to her people, but these solutions offered only short term release before coming back down on the fragile civilization harder. As a result of the many clumsy decisions made during the beginning of Talora's reign, the Ethaefal learned to heed even the advice of the cynical Aysel, and that sometimes she had to do things she didn't like for the ultimate good of the people she so loved.

Nilen
Name: Nilen
Race: Human
Birthdate: 476 AV
Birthplace: Lhavit
Occupation: Saya (Leader) of the Akka and priestess of Zintila
Gnosis: 3 marks of Zintila (Akarni level 3), 1 mark of Syna (Inavalti level 1)
Skills: Architecture - 90, Construction - 70, Leadership - 60, Masonry - 50, Physics - 80, Sculpting - 40, Teaching - 30
Languages: Common (Fluent)
Nilen is known to be a warm and welcoming presence. As the head of the Akka she is well known within the city, and as a result is very transparent. It isn't uncommon to find her start up a conversation with any citizen, and especially children. This Saya has a particular fondness of the young ones of the city and is very trusted with them.
When she is not working, it's not uncommon to find this full grown adult tossing a ball or playing hide and seek in the park. This playful demeanor shows through all aspects of her life. Even with adults, Nilen is usually only found joking around or being silly, even in serious conversation. She is the one to lift spirits in almost any situation and often knows exactly how to do it without making it awkward. While seriousness is rare to come by, Nilen shows a great affinity for leadership. She makes those around her comfortable and as a result can direct progress very easily.
As the Saya of the Akka, Nilen plays an important role in both the cult of the Constellations and Lhavit's politics. One may think that the woman in charge of construction is not usually involved in the heavier politics of the city, but being one of Zintila's most trusted Priests, Nilen is often consulted by high authoritative figures. Alongside the other two Saya, Nilen is trusted to make decisions representing the Constellations and the whole of the Akka. She is one of Zintila's most devoted and therefore one of her trusted voices.
Being in charge of the city's layout also holds its own responsibility. Nilen is tasked with overseeing all plans and construction from the Reta, Cala, and Terl of the Akka. She has mastered the unique ability to build with skyglass and the intriguing architecture that covers the tops of as well as hangs off the side of the five Peaks.
Born and raised in Lhavit, some may say she hasn't had a terribly exciting life. Born the daughter of one of the Seiza's Cala, it was no surprise that she followed in her father's footsteps, joining the Constellations. But of course, she chose a different direction, using her analytical mind and artistic abilities to benefit the city as best she could.
When Nilen turned twenty, she married a young Shinya warrior by the name of Kisern. Still happily married, the couple had been through trials in their relationship, from miscarriages to the return of past lovers. However, because of the constant chaos that made up the governmental factions of Lhavit during their careers, the two stayed together. Becuase of this, many Lhavitians look up to Nilen during hard times.

Johelm
Name: Johelm
Race: Human
Birthdate: 451 AV
Birthplace: Lhavit
Occupation: Saya (Leader) of the Seiza and priest of Zintila
Gnosis: 3 marks of Zintila (Akarni level 3), 2 marks of Tyveth (Truthism level 2)
Skills: History - 50, Interrogation - 55, Law - 90, Leadership - 70, Politics - 80, Rhetoric - 60, Teaching - 35
Languages: Common (Fluent)
Johelm is the image of balance. Although by now the man can be considered old, Johelm has always been told he was an old soul in a young body. Unlike the other Saya, he can be mistaken for somber and sad, although the opposite is true. Johelm is one to bear difficulty with great ease and an excellent mediator.
Like the Seiza are meant to be, he seeks only the truth with the purpose of bettering his beloved city. And because of his famous impartiality, Johelm can be seen as an ally to some and an enemy to other. Although in his view, and that of the general Seiza members, Johelm is completely independent of good or evil, only seeking the truth, however bitter or sweet it may be. Unlike the other governmental factions, Johelm holds a strict importance on justice through truth, not perceived rights or wrongs. With this in mind, the man is a pacifist, which shows in the decisions made by him and the other members of the Seiza.
Johelm knows he is not the law-maker. Nor is he the one who enforces it. But as the decider of truth, he becomes the mediator between right and wrong. As a result, his work is usually final, and his advice is always listened to. Although he is utterly equal in power to the other Saya, Johelm is listened to by the leaders of all factions. Even the three towers will come to him for advice, even if they no longer play a part in the political arena.
Johelm is believed to mirror Zintila's view on most things and is respected because of it. His decisions reflect on most of Lhavit, as does his pacifist nature. Despite the recent upheaval of the city's politics, Johelm struggled to keep the judicial sect pure and fair, even if the rest of Lhavit was in chaos. For the most part, he has succeeded in that. However, he was recently unable to keep the Tenya with the same demeanor during Hayani's rule.
Johelm was born and raised in Lhavit, just like most of the city's citizens. As a young man, Johelm wished to be a merchant, hoping to lessen the isolation of the city. But as he proved to be a horrible navigator, and quickly realized the impossibility of the task, Johelm had to search for a different occupation. Out of curiosity, he took an interest in the Constellations, although he was not a very religious young man.
Once Johelm began to grow more and more interested in Zintila and her faith, he committed very quickly to the cult. Being so wise, he quickly rose in ranks with many of the Constellations listening to him. It was only natural that he followed the judiciary route and was not challenged when Zintila chose him to become Saya at the young age of twenty-six. Since than, like the other two Saya's, Johelm has held a very close relationship with Lhavit's patron Alvina.
Since Hayani's death, Johelm has worked very hard to restore the balance in Lhavit through his role within the city and has gained considerably more recognition from Zintila as a result. Many believe that the Goddess has approached him for championship, but in favor of balance, the wise man had turned down the opportunity. Although no one can confirm this rumor, many are willing to believe it.

Birthplace: Lhavit
Occupation: Saya (Leader) of the Tenya and priestess of Zintila
Gnosis: 3 marks of Zintila (Akarni level 3), 1 mark of Leth (Telepathy level 1), 1 mark of Syna (Inavalti level 1)
Skills: Astrology - 90, Fortune Telling - 50, Glassworking - 40, Leadership - 80, Philosophy - 70, Storytelling - 60, Teaching - 30
****************************Languages: Common (Fluent)
Seanja is a rather mysterious character; despite her role in the Constellations demanding her to interact with the citizens of Lhavit regularly, she is somewhat aloof and distant. That being said, it is this aura of mystery and intrigue that attracts so many to her. While aloof, Seanja is far from shy or quiet; she enjoys serious and intellectual discussions with others, particularly on the subject of philosophy and religion.
She is always keeping a keen eye out for those who worship and serve Zintila faithfully; when she finds these people, she tends to offer them fortune telling readings with either the astrological oracle deck or lapis lazuli runic stones she carries with her everywhere.
Seanja tends to work more among the people of Lhavit; marked by both the sun Goddess and the moon God, she can be found wandering the city's peaks at any time of day. She is most often at one of the various temples scattered through the city.
Despite her role of spreading the word and religion of Zintila, Seanja is not a preacher. Rather, she allows those who are curious to come to her, and will happily talk of the Star Lady from there.
Seanja was born and raised in Lhavit; both of her parents, surprisingly enough, were Ethaefal. Her father was of Leth's domain, while her mother came from Syna's; as a result, she grew to know a great deal about both religions while growing up, and worshiped both deities regularly.
Gravitation towards Zintila and the Constellations was only natural; Seanja found herself among the Constellations quickly, and her quiet but strong desire to spread the faith of Zintila eventually found her in her current position.

Esther
Name: Esther
Race: Human
Birthdate: 485 AV
Birthplace: Lhavit
Occupation: Cala (Member) of the Akka
Gnosis: 2 marks of Zintila (Akarni level 2)
Skills: Architecture - 50, Calligraphy - 40, Cosmetology - 45, Drawing - 62, Floristry - 30, Gardening - 28, Observation - 82, Organization - 75, Painting - 22, Sewing - 55
Languages: Common (Fluent)
Esther is a woman with dark skin, long, flowing, deep brown hair, and warm amber eyes. She dresses in elaborate and dramatic yet still somehow elegant and tasteful clothing, and favours bold statement pieces.
Beauty has long since fascinated Esther; her mother was a seamstress, and her father was an artist. Growing up, she admired art of all kinds, and admired anything pretty, be it painting, house, or dress. She admired Zintila from a young age as well, after seeing the Alvina at an event briefly and being quite literally starstruck by her sheer beauty and elegance.
With a natural and keen eye for beauty, Esther seems to know perfectly what goes with what, even if people have their doubts when they first hear her suggestions. Wanting to make the city more beautiful for everyone, including herself and Zintila, she joined the ranks of the Constellations at a fairly young age, advancing quickly to the Akka sect.
Esther is responsible for some of the more eccentric and daring yet still beautiful pieces of architecture found throughout the city. She isn't afraid to be bold and try new things, and more often than not, it pays off. She is precise and detail-oriented, and perhaps sometimes come off slightly snobbish, but she's truly a kind person who just wants to make everyone and everything around her better. She doesn't sugarcoat the truth when she finds something unattractive, but she also doesn't hold back when she does find something attractive, easily gushing praise.
She is, despite her somewhat blunt nature, still considerate of others, and is always mindful to criticize only what can be changed when it comes to people, such as clothing or make-up; you'll never hear her utter a single bad word about someone's actual physical appearance.

Danica
Name: Danica
Race: Mixed blood (Benshira/Eypharian)
Birthdate: 494 AV
Birthplace: Wadrass
Occupation: Reta (Member) of the Tenya
Gnosis: 3 marks of Zintila (Akarni level 3)
Skills: Auristics - 50, Investigation - 30, Leadership - 28, Musical Instrument (Flute) - 35, Negotiation - 65, Observation - 42, Persuasion - 55, Singing - 45, Socialization - 70, Songcraft - 32
Languages: Common (Fluent), Shiber
****************************(Fluent), Arumenic (Poor)
Danica is a short woman who tends towards the thicker side, with a round face, wavy brown hair usually tied up in a bun, fair, glowy skin, and bright amber eyes. Despite a somewhat plain appearance and her plain manner of dress, she is rather pretty. To anyone who doesn't know better, she appears to be just a regular human; however, her eyes and the faint, wonderful amber and spice smell that seems to cling to her tell a different story.
Danica was born to an Eypharian father and a Benshira mother in Wadrass. Her father didn't stick around for long, leaving when she was still a child, and her mother was left to raise her alone. Wanting a new and better life for Danica, her mother packed them up and sent them on a journey. Eventually, they landed in Lhavit.
Growing up, Danica knew she was different, even if she didn't particularly look it. She was hyper-aware of her Eypharian ancestry, and hated the associations it came with. To this day, she is still deeply uncomfortable with that part of her; so she dresses plainly, without make-up or jewelry, and keeps her hair in a messy bun in order to seem as plain as possible. It doesn't always work as well as she would like, but it helps somewhat.
However, eventually Danica found her calling in the Constellations. She learned to use her natural charm to her advantage; not via seduction, but in other ways, like persuasion and purely platonic but engaging socialization. She also learned she could use that to her advantage when it came to spreading Zintila's message. Somewhat due to her natural charms, Danica is a natural public speaker and does well with attention on her, despite hating attention when she is in one-on-one situations. She greatly enjoys spreading Zintila's message throughout Lhavit, and deeply believes in the Star Lady and her wisdom.
Despite her confidence in crowds, Danica is much shyer one-on-one, and she is rather timid and soft-spoken, though still friendly and enthusiastic. She has a deep love of music, and can gladly discuss the topic for hours.

OOC Info
The Constellations is a collection of individuals blessed with Akarni, Zintila's Gnosis. They are widely known as the foundation and support of Lhavit. The members of the Constellations are often prominent members of society. Without them, Lhavit would never grow and would struggle to retain its function and beauty. The Constellations are very determined and structured with a single-minded purpose: restoring Zintila to her former glory.
The Constellations have existed since before Lhavit became the city it is today. The first members of the religious cult were recognized as far back as the fall of Zintila herself. They have evolved and replaced Zintila's original priesthood from when she was a powerful Goddess; her original priesthood has long since been forgotten with time. These early devotees were blessed by the Goddess in gratitude for their loyalty, and they gained the knowledge of skyglass, along with the ability to manipulate it.
As requested by Zintila herself, who cared for the new city that she now resided in, the new Constellations were tasked with building Lhavit. The first of the magnificent structures were confined to a single peak, before eventually buildings were crafted over the five peaks that make up Lhavit today.
The Constellations have always been incredibly devoted to Zintila, and have additionally given their dedication to the city of Lhavit itself. Working alongside Aysel and Talora, as well as the Shinya, the Constellations play a large part in securing the city's society. This does not distract the Constellations from their original purpose of restoring Zintila to her previous powerful ranking among the deities. Although they may serve other purposes, their true dedication lies with this ambition.
The Constellations are not a secluded cult. With one of their original purposes being to serve the great city of Lhavit, the Constellations are almost completely transparent in their working. They serve as Zintila's most dedicated followers and her vessels to help guide and care for her precious city of Lhavit. At one point, during Hayani's rule of Lhavit, ranking within the cult had been as strict as the social structure of the city itself. Aside from this short time period, and after Hayani was stripped of her Anchorite position, ranking within the Constellations has always been rather relaxed.
There are no regulations that bar a Terl from suggesting something to a Saya, and no rule that keeps the Anchorite, should there be one, from walking the streets to aide in a new tea shop's construction. Despite this relaxed attitude, the members of the Constellations hold heavy responsibilities that necessitate classification based upon their skills. This ensures that each individual is given plenty of room to succeed in their interests, and allows the Constellations as a whole to be productive by using skills where they are needed.
Although the Constellations are very open to the citizens of Lhavit, the cult creates an almost family-like feeling between members. The Constellations are known to be free spirits; they are not confined by the Constellations to only focus on their work for Zintila, although that is what many of them prefer to do. Members of the Constellations are often recognized within the city as prominent business owners, artists, scholars, and even members of the three Towers.
It is not an official rule, but it is generally accepted that the Constellations often pursue other interests with the purpose of bettering themselves or those around them. Yet, it is common to see the Constellations who are wholly devoted to the cult and their Goddess as well. Often these devotees move onto higher ranks within the Constellations.
Members of the Constellations may also worship other deities. It is no secret that Lhavit is home to those who are devoted to many Gods. Within the Constellations, it is no different. Often deities such as Leth, Syna, and Semele are highly worshiped alongside Zintila. It is common to see members of the Constellations with a mark from one of these deities, but rarely are they marked with more than one gnosis from another God or Goddess.
Other Gods and Goddesses accepted by the Constellations, but who are less frequently worshiped, are Priskil, Tanroa, Caiyha, Dira, Kihala, Cheva, Sylir, and other positively influential or even neutral Gods. Deities such as Rhysol, Yshul, Myri, and Uldr are shunned and not worshiped by any of the Constellations because of their negative effects on not only the individual, but those who surround him or her as well. Of course, it is almost unnecessary to mention that all members raise Zintila above any other deity in terms of faith.
One of the traditions that come with joining the Constellations, and receiving three gnosis marks from her, is the blessing of Zintila. After being blessed, the chosen will begin to show a faint star-like glow to their skin. Although not nearly as beautiful or powerful as Zintila's, it is a clear marker of her most dedicated followers and members of the Constellations. Once a new priest or priestess emerges with the distinct glow of Zintila's blessing, the city will celebrate for days in the usual Lhavitian fashion.
The Sects of the Constellations
The Akka: The Akka are the sect of the Constellations that focus on putting their Akarni Gnosis marks to use. They construct buildings and create valuable art for the city of Lhavit. Their talents are used at a citizens request (within reason). The Reta usually serve as the head architects, because of their skill, but anyone within the sect are welcome to build or plan as they wish, with some approval from the Reta and the Saya.
The Seiza: The Seiza hold the judiciary responsibilities of not only the Constellations but of Lhavit as well. They make sure the Government's laws are upheld and protect the rights of the citizens. Like their Goddess, the Constellations love their city and the Seiza represent that dedication.
The Tenya: The third sect of the Constellations are responsible for spreading the faith and religion of Zintila outside of their own cult. They become the moral and religious leader's of Lhavit's citizens and a heavy religious influence within the city.

Joining the Constellations
Should one wish to join the Constellations, becoming an Initiate is actually not very hard. One must simply enter either the Twuele and ask to speak with any member of the Constellations who is a Cala or higher. The only requirement is a genuine interest and curiosity; there is no real commitment made in the beginning. Either one learns of the Constellations and chooses to return to their regular life, or they learn of the Constellations and wish to join the cult in serving Zintila.
The Initiate will then spend some time amongst each sect of the Constellations, learning about their various duties as well as about Zintila and her faith. If an Initiate decides they wish to join the Constellations, they will then automatically become a Terl. From there, one moves up through the ranks at varying paces.
If you wish to become an Initiate and join the Constellations, please contact your ST for permission and more information; a modded thread may be required.

The Ranks Within the Sects
Title | Gnosis (Zintila) | Numbers | Wages | Description |
Anchorite | 4 marks | 1 | N/A (Supported by Zintila) | The Anchorite is Zintila's champion and the head of the entirety of the Constellations, although Zintila is still head of The Constellations as a whole. The Anchorite works closely alongside the other two Saya, and with her Reta to help the cult serve both Zintila and Lhavit to the best of their capabilities. Hayani was the previous Anchorite, but was stripped of a gnosis mark following the Day of Discord, and eventually killed in 513 AV; thus, currently, there is no Anchorite. |
Saya | 3 marks | 3 | 13 Ki/day | The Saya are the high Priests and Priestesses of Zintila, but also the leaders of each sect. The Saya still have three Gnosis marks and work all the same duties as the Reta with an added responsibility for guiding their individual sect. Nilen leads the Akka, Johelm leads the Seiza, and Seanja leads the Tenya. |
Reta | 3 marks | 15 | 13 Ki/day | The Reta are the Priests and Priestesses of Zintila. If a member has been chosen to be Reta, they are among the most dedicated and faithful to Zintila. The Reta become the leaders of one of the three sects, guiding the Cala and Terl, it is exceedingly rare for a Reta not to have chosen their path within the Constellations and often don't switch between sects. Although they do not consult with the Goddess as much as the Saya or the Anchorite, the Reta have developed a relationship with the Goddess that allows them to help guide their sect to help the city. |
Cala | 1 - 2 marks | 100 | 7 Ki/day | The Cala make up the bulk of the Constellations. Most every member will end up here, excluding the few who are chosen to become Reta. By the time a member has reached Cala status, they have usually chosen a path, be it Akka, Seiza or Tenya. Switching between sects is not unheard of, but is still rare. Cala are chosen based on their usefulness to their sect. As one's skill increases and the individual becomes more proficient, their responsibilities change and they earn the title of Cala. |
Terl | 0 - 2 marks | 50 | 4 Ki/day | The Terl is not the largest ranking, but it is the most diverse. Most members of the Terl are in training to work within the Constellations and so they often float between serving the various sects until they settle on one that suits their interests. A Terl is sponsored by one or more Cala, who mentor them within the cult and serve as their teachers within the various sects. Some Constellations will stay in the Terl ranking forever, often being the ones who switch between sects too often to commit to a single one. The rest of the Terl usually progress very quickly as they focus on one sect and their skills increase. |
Initiate | 0 - 2 marks | 10 | N/A (Not paid) | This is the smallest, as well as briefest, rank within the Constellations. Initiates hold no official membership within the Constellations, and usually only remain so briefly until they decide to join or not. Initiate (and Terl as well), don't rely on Gnosis marks for their title. Initiates can have anything from zero to two marks, however by the time one reaches Cala, they will have earned at least their first Gnosis from Zintila. Initiates are always warmly welcomed, but pressuring one to join the Constellations is never supported. |
