Flaunting her skirts (Lorin Galt ) [Private]

4th day of summer 510 av

Kirea tread slowly from the boat that had recently docked, the air was wet with spray, being swept from the waves and carried by the summer breeze. It was refreshing here, in this very moment. With the scent of the water in the air and the minute droplets clinging to her bare flesh. It was almost enough to ease the tipsy turvy turmoil that the ship ride had left her stomache in. Boats didn't agree with her, but the trip was much shorter via ship than it would have been if she'd chosen the other option. Besides that, it had left her satchel quite a bit fuller. A small almost devious smile played across her full lips as her thoughts strayed back to the hungry arms she'd encountered on the ship. He'd advanced on her, which was against her norm, but nevertheless it'd been good for her. Perhaps she would have rejected his request if he'd been of any other profession, but sea men held a spot inside her heart, was heart really the word? She thought smiling again.

It had been her whole intention of coming to Zeltiva, sure she would maybe brush up on some reading of sorts, or even try to learn some new tricks, but money was first on her mind. Pushing the thought of the sailor from her mind she instantly began searching for her next aqautaince. The dock was lined with men, loading, unloading, tying, swearing, boarding. It seemed they were all preocuppied with their work and being bards of the sea, she doubted they'd take kindly to her interruption. Even if it was a tempting offer she held. No, she'd look elsewhere. Silently she made her way to land, the clicking of her heals on the plank walk becoming lost in the hustle and bustle before one could even hope to hear it. Once on solid land it seemed the air was calmer, holding more of a proud air about it'self. It was a bit less crowded also and she easily made her way through the thin crowd, making eye contact with a few of her choice as she walked. Most of them averted her gaze, shifting theirs to the ground, but the few that looked back were awarded with a sultry smile and a smooth, delicate wink. Surely scholars needed love too?

She knew their type well enough to leave only subtle invites, she didn't want to raise a fuss or start a bout of name calling. She didn't need the stress of it all. Finding a suitable place she seated herself atop what appeared to be a low brick wall adorning some establisment. Bending her legs so only a glimpse of the tanned thigh belonging to her left leg was visable through the high cut slit in her dress. Many passerbys stopped to look, some standing to stare, whilst other turned their nose up at the harlot, a few even whispered about her. It seemed like forever before someone approached her and she was just about to get up and leave when she seen the person, walking up to her. "Ah my sweet, what is it you desire" Her words slid off her tongue like honey, dripping in syrupy sweetness. It was a front but she played it well enough that only a trained ear could hear the acid that poisoned the honey.

A swirl of black cloak greeted her conniving gaze, a slim man with long black hair slowly walking up to her. He was a rather frail person, quite tall yet quite thin, even if the cloak did hide it quite well. A single hand rose as he approached her, long, snake-like fingers waving at her in an odd sort of greeting. If her eyes rose to his face, after taking in the rest of his image, that was where the real oddities started. He was smiling as he approached her, that much was normal. She was beautiful, everyone that approached her generally had to crack a smile or two. Any hot-blooded male, at least. His smile however... His smile was different. Wide and pulled across his thin face, it threatened to rip his cheeks apart, just because of the way they were stretched. He showed no teeth, simply that rather sly, secretive, almost teasing smile. He would be handsome, if not for the way he was grinning. He was much more sleazy than any man she had met in a back alleyway.

He spoke, and his voice was just as clever as his grin. High and a bit sing-songy, dripping with a untold joke. Was he mocking her, or just a happy kind of guy? Or weird. Maybe he was just weird.

"My, my, my. The lady doesn't waste any time, does she? First five minutes the boat is in, and you are already up on a box, prancin' yourself around. Not that we mind, well, not all of us." He waved a dismissive hand at the ones who had rolled their eyes at her, and turned their backs to the harlot. "Well, lucky for ya, you are just th' kind of woman I have been lookin' for. I assume you are lookin' for coin? You are pratically one big advertisement." Once again, he waved his hand, gesturing to her body as a whole. Smiling still, he paused, then shook his head, bowing a little bit as he stopped just in front of her. "E'cuse me, don't mean to be rude. I just tend to let my mouth run away from me. What do ya say, miss lady? Could I borrow ya for a second or two?"

His waving hand came up again, and suddenly there was a bright Miza, flipping back and forth between the slim fingers. He was obviously giving her a hint, and obviously had some money to spend on her. He looked a bit wealthy, his long billowing robes were quite nice. Impossible to tell where that money may be, though. His dialect was wierd too. He had sort of a drawl, like he was too lazy to form full words every now and then. He was charming with his words, somehow. It all came out very smooth.

It also came out kind of creepy, which could really be a deal-breaker.

Flaunting her skirts (Open)

Kirea shot the newcomer a sideways glance of little interest, holding her posture. She figured the cloaked man was nothing more than yet another onlooker. But she noticed, he didn't stop at a comfortable distantce as the others had. He fully approached her, coming to stand before her and offer a greeting of uncommon nature. Whos is this man? She thought turning her head to properly sum him up. His smile left chills moving through her leaving behind prickling goosebumps in their passing. It wasn't a smile one usually wore in her company, it appeared to her as a deceiving front. Even so she returned it, giving him the sweetest, most alluring smile she could muster.

Slowly, she repositioned her self. Turning the full of her frame in his direction, welcoming his wandering eyes. Her own hazel eyes searched his face, had he not grinned in such a decieving, creep like manner he may have been of a more handsome appearance. Doubt crossed her mind, did she really want to service this man? She'd met men of less than classy nature, but this man before her gave the impression of a moraless man. The type of man to do his deed and leave with not only her loot, but her life as well.

"My, my, my. The lady doesn't waste any time, does she? First five minutes the boat is in, and you are already up on a box, prancin' yourself around. Not that we mind, well, not all of us."

His words sent her thoughts spiraling, sure she had chosen a less than acceptable profession. One that was spoken of in whispers and looked apon with sneers, but somewhere inside of her she had pride. How did he know she'd come off the boat? Inhaling as descretly as possible she composed herself, it did not serve well to snap at your customers after all. "Wasted time is wasted money, sir" She cited the line in a in a soft feminine way. Lowering her eyes from his in faked respect. Bringing her gaze back to his she drew her hand, rested on her thigh upwards, intentionally bringing the hem of her dress with it. "After all, patience is a virtue not wasted on lust" Her words slipped off of her tongue with ease, just as honey filled as the last. She payed no mind to the passerbys that looked on with disgust, she knew well enough to ignore them. Their opinions affected her none and becoming upset would ruin her game. Which she appeared to be winning.

"Well, lucky for ya, you are just th' kind of woman I have been lookin' for. I assume you are lookin' for coin? You are pratically one big advertisement." Another smile graced her full lips and she brought the previously straying hand to her face in an attempt at faulty innocence. She had no idea what kind of woman that might be, but spent no energy in disecting the statement. "Well, I'm certaintly not looking for love." She answered him. Her gaze shifted towards his dismissive wave and she shook of the notion of voicing her true opinion. Before she could further her reply business was proposed. "E'cuse me, don't mean to be rude. I just tend to let my mouth run away from me. What do ya say, miss lady? Could I borrow ya for a second or two?"

"Apologies are not needed in the least, as for borrowing me, I hope I hold your interest for a bit longer than that." She she spoke in the whispering tone of seduction. Her gaze instantly shifting to the shiny miza. Though however strange he was it no longer phased her and she swept to her feet in a well practiced motion. Standing in a way that left the slightest hint of her bossom revealed and the lenghth of a good portion of her shapely thigh exposed. He appeared overall of a wealthy stature and in her mind the tempting proposal of how much he may be willing to spend teased at her thoughts.

"You may borrow me for as long as you wish, granted the prized is right." She said this boldly, for now standing before him his height was a tad intimidating. Her boldness faltering slightly as she wondered if she truely knew what she was getting into. Thieves, beggars, knights, sailors, scholars, wanderers she'd been company to them all, but never someone like this. She knew their was something she was missing, lured by the mizas in his possesion, but she still accepted his offer.
