Ice Reaving. Location: Avanthal Appearance At 120lbs and 5’9” Manith is one of the taller Vantha in Avanthal and prides himself upon being so. His slightly longer black hair is tied up into a knot or ponytail during the day and he rarely shaves his facial hair completely. Staying true to this rugged theme his hands are very rough and have several scars and few burn-marks because of his close relationship to knives and a stove. His vibrant ever-changing eyes are, as all Vantha, his most significant feature. They change varying upon his mood but when he is calm and focused they generally stay in a purple-blue tone. Eye colours: Excited - A dark blue Interested - Darkish green Shy, flustered - Intense red Angry- Intense black Content/Calm - Deep purple Irritated - Orange Curious - White, borderline silver During the rare occasion when he reaches an elated feeling such as Sexual climax, adrenaline rush or any other rapid increase of dopamine, will make his eyes flash and change between all the colours rapidly. Character Concept As a person, Manith is a very tidy man with the things he owns. He is constantly making sure his cooking equipment is up to any task and are free from any bacteria. But, sadly, this has not reflected upon himself. He bathes often but he overlooks keeping his hair tidy and his facial hair trimmed. He loves great festivals and celebrations, specifically when he and the others from his hold is called upon to prepare a great banquet. This puts him in an elated state when cooking and preparing food. He dislikes those who waste and those who don't respect others. In short Manith is a very happy and free-spirited man. Character History. Manith was born on the 16th day of Autumn in the year of 493. It was a very harsh day, especially for an early autumn evening. His mother, who is still unknown to him to this day, died in childbirth. Manith tried to question his father about his mother, but every time he got the same response. "She is not a part of this family my son, she is but a spirit of the past." In the years to come he was brought up by his father, Avanth Winterflame, who taught him the basics of cooking and gardening. His father who often spent most of his time in the kitchen would often tell him stories of great dishes and culinary cultures while he was cooking. In rare cases he would make the dishes he had learned from travelers and it was this that had peaked Manith's intense love for food. He spent hours of every day to try to become as talented and good as his old man. Sadly, he would not be able to show his father his cooking for a dark Winter night in the year of 503 his father was lost out to sea in a hunting accident. To honour his fathers memory he has dedicated his life to create the perfect dishes, and will never forget his father who raised him into who he is today.
