Tristan Albayn Appearance Race: Human. Gender: Male. Age: 29. Birthday: 4th of Fall, 483. Birthplace: Syliras, Sylira. Profession: Unranked Syliran Knight. Appearance: Tristan stands at a rather muscular six feet and two inches and weighs roughly thirteen stone and a half. His black hair tends to be close-cropped and connects to a thick, dark beard. Character Concept Ser Tristan is a knight of honor and remains fiercely loyal to Syliran Knights as he feels his order is the expression of purity in the mortal realm. His strong devotion to Yahal continues his drive for courage and discipline, often regarding with suspicion anyone who does not meet the virtue expected by his god, even if they are not worshippers himself. Chivalry is a central tenant to Tristan’s life and his known to be skilled at speaking. Though he is generally amiable, he may come off as arrogant to those who are not fellow knights. Character History Tristan comes from a long line of knights, as it has become a tradition for those of the Albayn family. He did not have a close relationship with his father due to Gerard Albayn’s duties, which aggravated him quite a bit throughout his childhood. However, his mother did her best to dispel her son’s negative feelings and groomed him as best she could for life of the knight he was expected to have. Due to his father’s calling, he was able to receive some basic martial training from either his father or squires who were a bit older than him. Religious even as a child, he hardly got into any trouble as a boy and had a personality that, coupled with his gift of speechcraft, enabled him to make friends with and lead many other local boys. Tristan took the natural path of an Albayn male and became a squire and eventually was knighted, just as his father and grandfathers before him. Language Fluent Language: Common. It was created especially for Anders Albayn, a knight in his own right, and passed down to the first male born of the Albayn family. Tristan received the shield from his father, Gerard Albayn, when he retired from his services as a Syliran Knight. The shield is painted white with the sigil of the Albayn family, a red lion standing on its hind legs, holding a glittering spear. Red, white and the lion being the historical colors and symbol of the Albayn family and the spear shows the devotion of the family to Yahal. Housing Location: Syliras.
