I will endeavor to use this thread more. Please subscribe to it for however long your character abides in Denval, or if you are interested in what happens within the domain.

I added a new NPC to the Passenger Quays to welcome people if necessary. He likes fish.

I created a new location that needed creation, Theo's Farm. You may all thank Seodai once the character makes an entrance. Those of you who want income but don't have marketable skills can always go work up there some, and Theo can teach you how to use a longbow properly as well!

Our newest location in Denval is the Opal Clinic, which will be guest moderated by Caelum. Do check it out and PM Katie if you would like her to moderate a thread there for you. When your threads are finished, you should still put them in my office for grading.

Also, bug her about the Feastday for Rak'keli. Master Jarret in his little clinic is still available to teach medicine and herbalism and generally be a curmudgeon, but if you want gnosis, Cian will be the person to talk to, although he can only point a person in the right direction. But Katie's recommendation will carry a lot of weight for anybody playing in Denval who wants me to run a gnosis thread for them.

So Katie is helping me develop this citywide storyline that you are all involved in, whether you realize it yet or not. We are both trying to inject hints and things into all moderated threads, but we are also doing a few post threads between our NPCs to add some background and whatnot to the experience. We hope you like.

The Military Location Academy will soon go up. Within the location description will be a few pertinent facts regarding Denvali culture highlighted and reiterated, so it is suggested that everyone take the time to glance it over once it’s ready.

I will be posting in the Rak’keli feast thread this weekend. Anyone who has not yet posted will still be able to join for another week. If you require greater encouragement than the sheer awesome of PCs already involved, be aware that I have it on good word some serious citywide plot events will be taking place therein.

Also, a reminder:

The harvest will soon be upon us, Denval, and in the season of fall no thread is safe from the possibility of falling victim to moderator interruption. It may be for a single post or for the thread’s entirety. Going forward, if gnosis is used or magic is wielded during the course of a thread time stamped in fall, you are hereby requested to notify myself and/or Tabernac before or immediately after posting via PM. (And by requested, I mean required.) This includes the use of any approved magical items and excludes the magic involved in kelvic shape shifting. For now.

This is not to say you cannot use your magics, divine or otherwise. On the contrary, my friends. This is to say that wild IC things will happen if you do. Some will be small scale. Others will be large. You might completely love it. You might die. Defend yourself, Denval. Forewarned is forearmed.

Tabernac is sicktacular. Sadface. He is recovering, but wisest move is to direct things my way in the interim. Meanwhile, I will put vodka in his orange juice and force feed him chicken noodle soup.

On to happier things.

Anyone and everyone who would like to be included in the final stages of the citywide plot and would not mind Tabernac and I potentially meddling with one of your past lives, please take the time in the next week or so to PM me one or more of the following:

- an adjective or two that could be considered a permanent character trait in one of your PCs past lives

- a profession they might have had

- anything else significant and definitive

Please be aware that is likely we will need to bend and adjust such things to fit what we’re doing. If there is anything in particular your PC absolutely never would have been in any past life, you should probably let us know that too.

Ultimately, I will PM everyone who PMs me the above (and thus their implied agreement) with further detail of their past life. You will then be asked to post exactly once in a sticky thread I will start for this purpose with a short blurb based off the past life information I will provide you. It can be a quick scene from your past life, a significant event or even an in depth character description. It does not have to be very long, but I will expect some effort put forth so as to award you Knowledge of (that) Past Life as a Lore.

This Lore will come in handy very, very, very soon.
