Location: Sea of Grass This haunted place has existed for as long as anyone can remember, but is still very much unknown by outsiders, save for those who stumble upon it... Often literally... and messily... No one knows if this place was actually inhabited before the Valterrian or if it was built by civilizations even older.
Nestled in a scar in the Earth, Eltyra's Hideaway is invisible to anyone who is not standing upon the precipice. This makes it the perfect camp for bandits, mercenaries, and slavers. The halls are lined with bones, old, rusted weapons, and, if you dig about enough, lost loot. Be careful how long you pilfer about, though. Eltyra's ghost has a habit of chasing away thieves. If they don't take her warning, she will often take their body. She especially hates slavers and will do anything she can to free the slaves. Only he bravest ne'er-do-wells chose to camp here for fear of the Ghost's wrath.
But the Hideaway has a lighter side. Young groups of Drykas will often venture to it whenever Endrykas has drawn close enough to the strange canyon. While there, the young ones will lower themselves in using rope or the long, winding, narrow trail worn into the side then disappear into the caves for a night of merriment. Eltyra does no bother them if they do not disturb her home, she rejoices in such displays of youth and life. If you are quiet enough, you will sometimes hear her singing, ghostly fingers strumming an ancient lute, all in beat with the
tap-tap-tapping of water in some far off pool, deep within the bowls of the caves.

Additional Info: Born a Konti in a relatively wealthy home, Eltyra was abducted at the age of 20. Her captors were a gang of Akalak men whose dark brothers had taken over. They planned to sell her or use her themselves in hopes of continuing their lines. Eltyra died of a broken heart, having given up on any life she could have possibly had. But, she was bitter. The woman roamed the silent halls of the Hideaway, silently possessing people who bedded their in their sleep so that one day, countless years later, she could begin to take revenge on her life by killing evil-do'ers who live in the Hideaway for too long. Her favorite method is using possession to move a body to the cliff and throw itself off of it, jumping out at the last moment.
