"Where did I hear it?" Rosela repeated in confusion. "I suppose in school? Or maybe just, you know, around?" She waved a hand vaguely. Her childhood schooling was more likely, at the hands of expensive tutors and horrifically dull books.
The mention of her race caught her attention fully. "An Ethaefel...Eypharian?" She felt instant pity for the poor creature, wherever she was. To only possess the beautiful Eypharian form during the night hours... "What's her name? I'm not sure I've met any other Ethaefel, but the Eypharians I know here are all, well, full-time ones." Her curiosity itched to know this other Ethaefel, wondering if she spoke Arumenic, the language of their home.
All six hands turned up to flex in front of her as she looked down. It was a common question, but she wasn't sure she'd ever get used to it. With Ahnatep relatively close to Riverfall, closer than so many other cities, it still surprised her on occasion how many people were so strangely fascinated my multiple arms. "Lifelong practice, I suppose? I don't know how people get by with just two!" It was her standard answer, and it had been given so many times that she stopped resenting it. If only people knew how much easier life was with multiple arms...
Having picked a dress, Rosela clapped happily. It was always a spot of joy on her day, or in this case, evening, to have picked a dress they liked on the first try. "Absolutely. The changing rooms are just back here..." Gesturing with one hand, she moved to the back of the store. "The candle won't reach much in there, so it's a bit dark, but if you come back out after you're done, you'll be able to see yourself in the mirror here." She indicated the mirror on the back wall that had a small, white, wooden box in front of it. One foot moved the box, her measuring box, to the side. In the shadows, Rosela didn't want her new customer to trip on it.
