Vincent Lane Appearance Human Male 19 Summer 12th 494 Syliras Standing at around 6ft2 Vincent looks like an everyday run of the mill average human. There is nothing special about the way he looks apart from some burn marks running down his arms. Vincent has long black hair and likes to keep his face clean shaven and tidy. Character Concept Vincent is a young and struggling magic user, after being taught the basics he never fully had the confidence to advance in his abilities always fearing the worst outcome. Vincent wants to overcome this problem and be able to live up to his mothers high expectations she had for him. Vincent also has an overwhelming urge to be able to get out of Syliria and do great adventurous things, there was many time while reading books of great and epic tales where he would imagine himself at the forefront of an important story. Growing up Vincent was usually confined to his tiny accommodation within the citadel, it is here that he met his best and only childhood friend, a girl by the name of Deviasa. Deviasa was always greatly interested in the Syliran knights which meant the majority of your time with her was spent watching the knights out on the street and having play sword fights in her room. However all this fun and games soon came to an end when Vincent's mother forbade him from leaving the home. During this time Vincents mother had forced him to study the magical arts insisting that he should carry on the family tradition. Extremely reluctant Vincent started his studies and practice, he was never very good and often injured himself while trying to form a spell. After many years of isolation Vincent was finally allowed out of the house and away from his studies providing that he should never reveal what he had been doing. Catching back up with his old friend Deviasa who he had not seen in a long time he discovered that she has become a brilliant sword-stress and is moving away from Sylvira but offers to teach him some basic sword play for old times sake. During this time they spent together they became very close again. Soon the time came for Deviasa to leave, she did not waste time with a goodbye or even look for Vincent to tell him she is leaving Vincent just woke up one morning to find she had left and so he had no choice but to return to his life of lonelyness and isolation until they day came when he could leave this place.
