PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
True to her Benshira heritage, Niraeya is tan of skin with eyes that can't decide if they want to be blue or green. Niraeya always looks a bit upset even if she is not presently feeling so. Her hair is a long mass of brown curls that despite being unruly, she leaves out to cover her large ears because of the teasing of her brother. Due to her petite and somewhat childish facial features Niraeya could easily be mistaken for one younger than her 17 years if it wasn't for her 5 foot 10 stature. Although tall, if not dancing, she is anything but graceful; verging on clumsy. Her fingers - as well as her frame - are slim and being that she's ambidextrous, both hands are quite nimble. Though slim, she is not delicate; what little muscles she has are toned from the frequent dancing her people carry out. She can often be found without shoes adorning her feet.
CHARACTER CONCEPT
Niraeya is the type to easily speak her mind; whether this is in a headstrong manner or simply blurting the first things to come to mind. It's a habit that, with the wrong people, has gotten her into quite a few misunderstandings. At times she will ramble on if she has a passion for something especially interesting to her. That being said, boredom is the key to her silence; It may come across as rude to some, perhaps even insulting if her mind wanders. It does not take much to entertain her but her interest is easily lost. She holds a passion in expressing herself through words and facial expressions and coupled with the headstrong attitude she has at times, arguments with her are near always unbudging.
Unlike the title her ancestor Jaben was given, Niraeya is anything but patient. She does not possess the ability to stay in one place and is constantly on the move. Even though she has a love of learning her impatience causes her to become greatly frustrated when she cannot easily grasp some concept or other. The only thing she ever has patience for are the arts.
Due to Niraeya's slight memory problems she always tries to enjoy every day. Now whilst she is not blind to life's faults, she prefers to embrace the good things in life. She is a jovial person with a smile nearly always gracing her lips and a laugh not far behind. Niraeya is for the most part friendly and always eager to meet a new face; especial those of a race she has yet to meet before. Of course she is not without her judgements which are mostly based on her cautions but she is trusting to a fault.
Niraeya values being honest to oneself above all else. She does not believe in one going against their nature or changing themself to belong. Whether this means she is fond of them or not, she will respect the fact that they are true to themself.
Positive: Generous, Honest, Merry, Passionate
Negative: Blase, Impatient/Restless, Passionate, Stubborn, Talkative

CHARACTER HISTORY
Niraeya was born to the tents of Rasiem, of the sons of Jaben two years after her brother Abyan. From a young age Niraeya has always had a problem retaining memories. Sometimes they were tiny, insignificant things like the previous night's meal or a joke shared. Other times whole days would go missing. These gaps did not escape the notice of her family. Of course much could not be done about the state of her mind, however her mother did have the sense to give her daughter a journal. Niraeya recorded every detail of every day onto these pages; and although her life inside the stone tents of Yahebah were anything but exciting, she was content at being able to look back on the days. This was alright for a time.
From time to time there was the odd traveler that would come seeking shelter within Yahebah. Niraeya could always be found looking upon them curiously, always wondering "Where'd they come from? What's their story?". It fueled her interest in traveling
the lands of Mizahar, seeing for herself a continent in which she knew little of besides what she was able to read. Yet it did not sit well with her parents. There were dangers unknown to her, skills she did not possess, she was too young; they thought it best she stay. The only person who supported her desire to go was her dear brother. They had always been close no matter the squabbles and teasings. In the end it was Abyan who was able to convince their parents to let her go.
With her first destination set for the cities of Cyphyrus, she left Yaheba with Chaktawe from the Suli tribe that had come to trade. It was a great convinience, seeing as they interacted with the Eypharians; she would be closer to Cyphyrus in Ahnatep. For a whilst she lived amongst the more aggressive Chaktawe, learning a bit more about them with the time she had. Soon enough they were close enough to Ahnatep that she could make the distance alone undeterred.

CONTINUED...
Ahnatep though a glorious city, was not a place Niraeya desired to stay long in. She held no soft spots for the Eypharians so for most of her stay she kept well out of their way. She wanted to immediately get on with her travel to Cyphyrus but with little knowledge of its flora and fauna she was at a disadvantage.
With the arrival of winter came the Drykas. It was around the time that Endrykas was closest to the region of Eyktol, she later learned. It was the perfect opportunity, yet she was slightly wary. Though curious about magic, Niraeya had grown up wary of Magi like most Benshira's and she had heard of the magic the Drykas wielded. With not much of a choice, lest she head back home, Niraeya set off with the Drykas. It was hard at first, as she did not catch on to their customs quickly and she was still skittish around them. Yet it wasn't long before she adjusted and her stay became more comfortable.
Niraeya was with the horsemen when the Djed Storm hit. She thought of it as a great sandless Hika-Zulrav. With the pre-warning that the Drykas had gotten, Niraeya was able to avoid the worst of the devestation. However she did not rest in ease; she worried constantly about those in Yahebah, wondering how they faired against the storm but with no way of knowing, it was a whilst before her worries died down. She stayed with the city of Endrykas through its migration to Riverfall and seperated when they reached Kenash. With regret for not staying and seeing more of the cliffside city previously, Niraeya set out once again with a caravan on their way to Riverfall.
