Common Vani Nari
Gale and Kendhl crashed against the sand, Gale letting out a loud grunt from the impact. His back stung slightly, but it didn't prevent a bellowing laugh escape his lips at Kendhls surprise and threat. "Why not stick it down my trousers instead!" He laughed again, mocking her previous decision with the crab.
However, the widower scoffed loudly with a look of disbelief when she had the guts to say he was mean. The man rolled over, bringing Kendhl with him. "Oh ho, I am mean?!" He raised an eyebrow," I did not shove a crab down your trousers!" Well, maybe there was a reason for that Gale. She didn't have any pants.
His cheeks flushed a soft pink at this realization and after her request to let her go. "Yeah, of course." He pulled away. Gale sat up and sat on his legs in the sand.
It was an odd thing. His feelings that is. His feelings towards things and other people. Woman generally made Gale uncomfortable, not for any particular reason regarding them as a person. Just the fact that they were woman and they reminded him of the ones he loved but were long gone. They reminded him of Hana. It had always been true that the more they resembled Hana and the way she acted the more uncomfortable he became. However, in a way, Kendhl reminded him of her yet he wasn't even telling her to cover up. Not anymore at least. It was as if he was suddenly comfortable with the idea of woman or nudity or kelvics or Kendhl specifically. It was as if he had passed a boarder that had been giving him the feeling of distraught and now was content with the idea. It started to confuse Gale as he thought about it.
Thankfully, his mind didn't wonder on it for too long. Ricky decided to call over with a joking insult. "Oh shut up!" Gale threw his hand in a swipe like manner with another loud laugh. "You do not have to watch! He teased in return with a large grin on his face.
His eyes returned to the Kelvic otter next to him. She was blushing, though Gale didn't understand. Was it because he picked her up? He hoped it wasn't. His mouth opened to say something, but a wave coming onto the shore rushed over his legs. His face was instantly covered in shock and his body became stiff. He forced himself up, quickly scurrying away from the water, repeating the phrase," Oh Ssena that is cold! He didn't go far, but definitely far enough away from the water's reach. He was already soaked from his clumsy trip earlier and the breeze wasn't helping him get any warmer either.
He sat back down, his teeth almost chattering as his bones started to chill. "How can you stand that?" He called over to Kenny. How did she not get hypothermia or a cold from swimming in it all the time. After she responded, Gale looked over his shoulder and hollered at the soon-to-be-parents. "Do we need more fish, Richard?!"
