The Docks
Evening
Today was the day. The day of the 'Bonfire Bonanza'. Everything was almost set in place. All they needed was the fire wood and the tattoo equipment, which Wart was bringing. They also needed the Kelp Beer, which Wart was supposedly also bringing. After all that is done, then all they needed was the sea food. Which Gale and Kendhl still haven't gathered yet. And Wart wasn't here yet either. Wow, maybe they didn't have everything set in place. As a matter of fact, nothing was done yet. But that is quite alright. Wart should be here any minute and fishing with an Otter would be easier than..."What is easier than fishing with an Otter?" Gale muttered as he took off his shoes, preparing himself to go in the water.
The artist stood up and wiped the sand off his back side and headed towards the water, his bucket in his hand. Never having fished before, the man wasn't sure how this was going to work out. Was he suppose to swim with Bob and catch things in his mouth like she did? That didn't sound very logical, considering he wasn't a strong swimmer. That and he definitely didn't want to catch fish in his mouth. "Soooooo." He stopped at the water's edge, watching it creep towards his toes before retreating. " We do not have equipment. All we have is a bucket. I cannot swim. I hope you have a plan for how this is going to work. " His eyes finally turned towards the Kelvic.
The only way that Gale could see working is if Bob somehow managed to gather up the fish near the shore and he could quickly scoop them up with the bucket. But how brave are fish? They couldn't be all that courageous, especially with a predator such as an Otter. Wait- were Otter's predators? They ate clams or something, right? But Bob caught a fish a few days ago, so he supposed they did. A hand rose and rubbed the bridge of his nose in thought. This was going to be more difficult then he thought.
His hand brushed through his hair before falling to his side, looking out into the waves. With how hot this season has been, the coolness of the ocean was tempting. However, the blonde would rather not be wet for tonight. His goal was to stay as dry as possible, which would fail in the largest proportions if he had to swim at all. But it wouldn't take them long to dry, depending on how long he was in the water. "If we have more people we'll have to catch more fish..." A mumble as his throughts trickled out of his mouth," How many people are coming besides Wart again?" Hopefully not many. " Speaking of Wart, where is she?" Gale said quizzically as he turned around and skimmed the people passing by. None of them looked like the tattoo artist. "She should be here by now."
