Niraeya couldn't help but laugh at Uleru's outright honesty. She appreciated it really and she hardly minded as some people might have; anyone could see that Yahebah was less adorned than either two cities. Admittedly if one was not so use to the desert as she was, it could be a horrible place; though it might have been more of the fact that her watery friend and her sandy home were completely different elements.
That being said, the Benshira were perhaps just a bit too used to the desert. She could easily see why they might have been even the slightest bit wary - months ago she herself would have been as well - but she was excited to hear that the Otani had been to Yahebah at all.
As Uleru's reflection ended, she announced that it was time for Niraeya to get in the water and try her hand at swimming. She did not need to be told twice. Niraeya immediately straightened up, ready to hop in the salty blueness. The only thing to slow her down was the slight spray of water and sand, which she shielded her eyes against before she was on her feet and eagerly following Uleru; who was already in the water.
Ridding herself of her clothes had not crossed her mind until Ru's command. She stopped short, a flush already rising to her cheeks. "M-my clothes?" She spluttered, just a bit taken back. Niraeya fisted her tunic in her hand and looked down at it and back at Uleru, her teeth lightly sunk into her lip. It was just the two of them at the moment...
A sigh left her, "It can't be helped." And she began to untie the cord, letting her tunic slip off her frame so she was left in her undergarments. Niraeya bundled up her clothes and went to set it on the rock the seagulls had rested on sometime ago so as not to have drenched clothes when they were finished. "I have done as commanded, dear lady," she joked. At least she was sure the word she used was commanded... or something that sounded like it.
Not wanting to waste another second, Niraeya jogged over taking her first step into the water. It was refreshing on her skin and as she waded further out, she wondered if she would have the will to leave afterwards; it felt wonderful. A grin was on her face when she reached Uleru. "I do not think I will want to leave later."
