Running into the room, Iosha saw the little red haired girl curled up in the fetal position holding her neck. The konti looked around and all the children were sitting up in their beds wide eyed and watching in horror as their fellow yasi was choking to death. As Iosha moved to her bed, she started to hear a number of scared children start to cry all at once. The konti knew the girl wouldn't survive long if she couldn't breath, but she had no time to examine the body to know what she was dealing with, so Iosha just had to rely on her Goddess' of aid at the moment. Iosha quickly examined the situation, and she noticed the blood and fluid on the pillow was littered with glowing red spores. Knowing she saw them once before. The blond haired healer looked at Miquel and said loudly, “We need to move her to the other room otherwise she could effect the other children.” Iosha knew the glowing red spores were a death sentence, and she nodded Aidara and said with a shake of her head, “Those spores in the fluid must be the culprit, Addy. Curgan was right. We need to burn those sheets.” Iosha knew that she was taking charge of the situation because a part of her thought the whole situation could be avoided if she warned someone ahead of time about the killer spores. However, her life in the city got hectic, and the mushrooms kept getting pushed into the back of her mind. The fungus already taken three innocent lives, and now it was about to take the life of a child that reminded her of her daughter. It was heartbreaking, but she needed to figure out something to save Lily.
Iosha eyes widened when the girls eyes started to roll back into her head and her coloring started to fade from her cheeks. The Konti looked at Miquel and said softly, “I don't want to touch her as much as possible, so I will grab these corners of the sheet, and you grab the other corners on your side of the bed than we lift and carrier her to the table into the other room.” Iosha grabbed her corners and the male healer did the same. When they were ready, Iosha said urgently, “Lift.” Iosha and Miquel lifted the little girl in the sheet, and they took her into the other room with other body of the deceased boy. Iosha motioned with her head to Miquel to the open table on the left. When they got to the table, Iosha and Miquel lifted the sheet at the same time and gently put her on the empty table. Iosha immediately started to feel her neck, and she noticed her neck was bulged slightly. It was a symptom not found when she first arrived in the Infirmary. Trying to be as professional as she could muster, Iosha said to Aidara, “Lily neck is slightly larger than normal.” The Konti put a hand on her chest, and she noticed her lungs weren't moving like they should. It was a bad sign, and she didn't know what to do. Iosha bit her lip trying to hold back her tears and said slightly defeated, “I don't feel any moment in her lung either...”
