Ollic has always been shy; ever since he was young, he’s had trouble making friends, talking to people and being social. He had outgrown his muteness with being around strangers, but he still struggles with a sort of social anxiety issue every now and again with making conversation. Ollic is quiet even when he isn’t shy. He has always been a reserved guy and finds being loud of obnoxious in seeking attention immature. Ollic had a sweet laugh, his voice high, yet still manly enough to be one of masculine border. When he speaks its like honey running through people’s ears. His father told him it was because he needed to have a soothing voice to become a doctor, that it came with the package of knowledge he learned as a child to adolescent.
It is rare that Ollic would ever become mad, that is why it often isn’t confused with the times he is having an episode in conjunction with his panic attacks. Ollic rarely ever thinks only of himself and unless faced with difficult social situations or is put to the test against one of his many fears, Ollic is basically selfless. He will help anyone, whether he has been hurt by them, threatened by them or been called close to death by their actions. He is a strong believer in rightfulness and believes in kindness.
Ollic can be a rather fragile man, both emotionally and physically when it comes to life. He had vowed to never hurt anyone, therefore rarely does he ever defend himself using weapons. Ollic can also be known for his hospitality as well as his logic. His intelligence is persistent in finding the right thing to do. He is food at reading body language and therefore knows when to back off from someone and when not to.
Ollic is constantly curious and does his best to learn about all he can whether it is extremely personal or not. He isn’t very brave, but can be when tested or toyed with. A very sensitive guy, Ollic had seen many incidents where he has been used, lied to or taken advantage of, and this is a serious issue of which he takes in consideration. His moods and emotions are continuously changing, much like the hormones of humans, but they are prone to speaking his mind, which his mouth sometime cannot do.
Ollic is very easy to talk to once he feels confident and safe around you. He finds himself more of a listener than a talker, but he listens with an open mind and a light heart.
Ollic has an irrational fear of large group public speaking as well as of very small, enclosed spaces. He can’t explain why he fears these two things, for he hasn’t ever had a bad experience with either one of them. Sometimes, when Ollic is put into very stressful, difficult positions, he will have panic attacks. Sometimes he will burst down into a fit of tears or into a state of immense laughter or hysteria, other times he could become afraid and cower or become enraged.
He can be a great guy once you are privileged to know him. He just needs a bit of love and a lot of comfort and protection., He might even let you call him Ollic if you become of great relation to him. He works well with people who struggle with issues themselves, having him know that he isn’t the only. Be open with him and he will be open with you.

Ollic Torelscue Rimesage was born on the twenty-seventh of autumn, 491 AV in the peaceful, natural settlement of the Spires. His mother had left Avanthal to seek out meditation and solitude where she met a man she found true love in.
His mother delivered him rather early, suffering from multiple miscarriages before him. He was born with black irises, meant for anger his parents had soon realized. Overall, for being born several weeks early, Ollic was born a healthy, strong infant with a loving heart and an open mind. The family swiftly moved to Avanthal to join with their fellow ancesters, never completely joining a hold, since they hadn't lived there for long.
They were both health experts, his parents; doctors and midwifes as well as surgeons and herbalists. Ollic’s entire ancestry had been in the health industry in fact, studying abroad as medical technicians or in solitary sanctuaries, practicing to become practitioners. Ollic’s father had currently been training to become an advanced immunologist whilst Ollic’s mother had been taking a couple months off her job as a therapist to enjoy her maternity leave. They both had known Ollic was to be some sort of doctor; they knew from the moment they saw him, eyes black with anger, turning green ever so quickly after, that he would help people in need if not himself.
When he was not but four years old, Ollic began learning different parts of the body, his parents teaching him every free moment they could. He was left with a nanny most of the time seeing as how his parents were always busy with work and professional emergencies. Strangely enough, Ollic found this acceptable, he didn’t care all that much that his family didn’t spend a ton of time with him. He used his free time alone to think and learn and study about all things he found interesting. Throughout his childhood and teenage years did he make the best of the knowledge he found.
At age seven he had began experimenting with how the mind worked. He knew how one was able to see, how one could think and what they were capable of. The brain had always fascinated him, to some extent, he began dreaming about the different things one’s mind could accomplish or overcome. Someone, if they were put up to the challenge, could solve an extremely difficult puzzle in under a few chimes. The idea of thoughts and functions all from a main source of connection was all so confusing, yet it intrigued him and pressured him to study about people's actions, body language, thought and perception throughout his teenage years. Of course, he wasn’t nearly as skilled in the knowledge of the mind as well as he was about the human body, and he still didn't know much about how it worked, seeing as how it wasn't well known and hadn't been delved into quite yet.
At age eight, he had memorized and categorized the entire skeletal system of the living person. Ollic knew all 206 bones in an adolescent body, their names, functions and even limitations. He knew how they were connected and how they could be broken, his family helping him learn every step of the way. Their input really put Ollic’s mind to focus, their comments and arguments toying with his sense of idealism. He was interested in the body, and his parents were a major part of his interest.
At age nine, Ollic was attending intermediate to advanced classes in the field of medicine. He didn’t have many friends, being too shy and afraid to make any, so he spent his time here, learning about many different techniques of healing. His parents, however, soon found out about his strange actions toward people and they diagnosed him with a form of social anxiety.
At age ten, Ollic had become so obsessed with learning that it had affected him in other ways as well. His main writing utensil always had to be present on the left side of any paper he was working on; he always had to clean his room before he went to bed, constantly getting up in the middle of the night to move his desk chair to the right or to organise his clothing by colour. This particular obsession become very annoying to both himself and his parents, that they both agreed to consult a therapist who diagnosed him with OCD and helped him try to train his disorder.
At the age of eleven, Ollic began questioning his sexuality, subconsciously feeling a drag in the direction of males as well as females. He’d loved the male’s anatomy; the actions of a man threw him for a loop. How someone could be so aggressive, protective and full of testosterone yet could also be so comforting, gentle and sensual was way beyond his capable understanding. Perhaps he was lacking in testosterone himself, or perhaps he just liked men for an important reason. Either way, he kept this opinion to himself, not mentioning it to either of his parents that he was interested in liking both genders.
At age twelve, Ollic attended his first autopsy, taking down notes during the entire procedure. His father was the one operating the presentation, removing a large cyst that had formed around the lower part of the heart from a young man. Soon after closing the once sick patient, now cured, Ollic’s father gave his son a test so lengthy and difficult that it took near close to three days to complete. It was all about the different kinds of systems of the body, their functions and the diseases and disorders they could create if not taken care of properly. He proceded more in depth with organs and living cells, testing on the purpose of the mitochondrion, producing ATP as an energy source for the rest of the body. He was continuously learning at a rapid pace, often being berated by his father to work harder. He was moving up in the world of anatomy and physiology, sharpening his skills in the arts of medicine as well as Herbalism as second course.
At the young age of fifteen, Ollic came out into the open, telling his parents about his choices in sexual interest. At first, his parents were slightly furious, but mainly disappointed and embarrassed, their eye colour changing incessantly between all colours they could possess. After a long while however, they came to terms with him, accepting his choices and moving on. His father remained annoyed, thinking it to be unnatural and an act of wrong-doing to everyone, but he never spoke his thoughts to his son, merely dropping basic hints every now and again to try to change his mind, but Ollic wouldn’t budge.
Sixteen was his age of transfer. All the while he was studying about medicine and Herbalism, Ollic had completely left out the common knowledge of magic. He had heard about the term Djed before, but had simply never put the idea to use. At this age, he read about and practised the method of shielding, spending endless nights awake, glaring down at scrolls from the libraries he tracked down. Slowly, but surely he had managed to create shields and protect small things from harm. Still a novice to magic, Ollic refuses to give up learning about the powers of Djed and it’s sorcery.
Seventeen was a big year for Ollic. A lot of black irises made their appearance as he witnessed his father's death. He had been fighting off fevers for months, often vomiting during the course of them and suffering from rashes and severe migraines. The two adults had consulted with one another, being doctors themselves they tried labelling off the very many illnesses he could have caught. One day his symptoms were so extreme that the family asked for a more mastered doctor whom specialised in cancers and other terrible diseases. He took one looks at Ollic’s father and sighed, stating that he had an incurable disease. He was too far along that there was nothing he could do to help him. He asked for permission to take him up into the gods and goddesses hands where he couldn’t suffer the end of his life, and Ollic’s mother obliged through many tears and shakes. He saw him die, that image of his deathly stillness seared into his mind.
The night of his father’s decease, Ollic couldn’t sleep. He stayed awake throughout the night writing letters to him, writing down anything and everything that would come to mind and that he wished to share to him. He had always been close with his father, far more than he ever was with his mother, so the sudden impact of a loss so great was fiercely damaging. The following morning, his mother knew he hadn’t slept much. She merely told Ollic that it was a natural phase in the grieving stage and that he should grow up and accept the fact that he was dead. Nights went by, many without even winks of sleep. When he did sleep, however, he would wake up in a sudden panic in the middle of the night, screaming his heart out, sweat dripping down his face and his head throbbing in beat with his rampant beating heart. These sudden night-time outbursts followed him during the day, where his eyes would go pitch black and he would act out- a terrifying sight to someone who loved him or was of relation to him. Sudden Panic Disorder, his mother had once told him, brushing off the topic completely. Meditation and relaxation were the only tactics that would keep it at bay, yet Ollic knew not how to meditate appropriately.
It was here that Ollic made a vow, took an oath, that he would try his best to heal any and all people he found injured. Observing his father’s death had plucked an emotional thread in his heart so hard that it broke, having Ollic desire to become a healer at the cost of what his father had been. He wasn’t uncomfortable around illness or wound and he never had been. He would never hurt anyone physically or emotionally, he would never pick up a weapon if it meant his life, although he would try his best to defend others at certain costs. He would care for all those who needed it and he would progress and become better at it with every day he helped people. Healing was in his blood and it always had been. All those endless years of studying to become a doctor or some sort of healthy expert weren’t for nothing and he knew it. Healing was what he was good at and he accepted it, thanking Rak’keli for giving him the right to revive his father’s name in the idealism of helping others. He also appreciated the help of Eyris, for pushing him to study, leading him in the right direction of professional interest.
Eighteen was the age Ollic made up his mind to leave Avanthal. He thought that being in the city of which his father had died in was making his disorders worse and he needed to leave his mother and her harsh idealism of life behind. The only reason he had taken such a long time in deciding was the fact that his family was here, his mother, his grandparents and other relatives. He loved the scenery of the Icelandic view and the snowflakes that fell all the time. He loved the cold and the stories that were told by children throughout the streets. But his problems got worse, eventually having his pack up his things, bring his dog along and make his way for the city of Denval to study amongst the solitary of lovers.
Ollic was only there for not more than two years before he decided to travel to the crystalline settlement of Lhavit. Magic was welcome there and the academy and libraries were littered with knowledge and mystery. He had hoped to have found a lover by this time, seeking out Denval for any companions, but found none of which wouldn’t be more than temporary. The travel took longer than he had initially thought. He had stopped at other places along the way, including the rock and mineral city of Sultros. The work the Isur race did was jaw-dropping, so intriguing to Ollic that he had to stay and be much like a tourist. After he had made note of their work and had hesitantly befriended very few Isur, Ollic found himself at the elaborately tall gates of Lhavit.
Ollic plans to stay in Lhavit for a few seasons to a few years depending on how things work well for him there. He is looking for a job in the medical field much like his fellow ancestors, but he wants to keep his mind open to the possibility of practising magic and shielding. Someday he hopes to find a nice man or woman to fall in love and settle down with. He hopes to perfect his healing techniques and master his shielding powers. Someday he will make goddess Rak’keli proud and search more marks to heal others with more improvement and potential. Doctor Ollie is his name and he has high hopes and expectations! He just hopes his personal struggles don’t interfere with his life and career…
