Character Concept Ben is a very quiet person hardly talks to anyone unless they are a merchant or fellow scholar seems to be very lonely very calm to a limit he longs for a quiet life to settledown some time wih a wife and kids and then return home in wind reach. Ben wishes to live away from a city and prefers rolling country. Ben is a gentle and understanding person when required and is very respecive of women he disagrees with wasters,prejudice and outcasting of people because he knows how it feels . Ben would offer a favour to almost anyone depending on difficulty and if he has the time and would give his life up for almost any good cause. Ben loves a drink after a hard day of research he is loud when drunk. Ben when not drunk is usually reading,smoking or conducting random experiments or just looking for idle chat and can normally be found all over the place or just outside the city camping. Ben has always had a lust for red haired women and finds them unusually attractive this is one of his major flaws he just tries his best not to stare. Another flaw that Ben possess is the fact that he's a smoker and smoking is usually looked down upon and has a poor life expectancy and badly needs to quit the habit. Ben learnt most magic from his mother any spare money he had went towards learning alchemy and he never had muchof it.Ben is willing to teach alchemy any other skills you wish to learn have to be to be arranged for and will have a small fee. Worships Cheva and Gnora Character History As a child he lived with his mother since his father abandoned him he sill remembers the hunting trips he used to go on but since his dad left he swayed towards magic and the gods for a he was more of a scientist back then and still is now. Ever since his mum taught him alchemy he began to view women as the most friendly people you will meet (sort of). When Ben had reached 8 years he began his study of alchemy sitting down with his mother at dusk he began to read basic concepts with her aid reading the difficult words and helping him to understand the difference between founts,filters,keystones and the target. At the age of 14 Ben's mother had gotten him a apprenticeship with a scholar and alchemist and it was from him he learnt about Philtering and medicine but most of his time went into more alchemy training. Ben always had a interest in glyphing he borrowed a few books from the library and read both of them in two nights. One day Ben was approached by a leecher and was asked "do you wish for power boy there is something about you" Ben knew this was a leecher by his appearance and Ben replied "no i do not wish for power but knowledge" the leecher looked at him with disappointment "suit yourself boy you could have become my apprentice" Ben replies with "i already have a master im sorry" and ran away and never looked back.
