There was a slight pause in the conversation before Shiyami asked, "Are you new to this city, Angela?" She thought back to when she first arrived here not so long ago on the ship, "I am. I've only been here a week or so." Kimi was tugging on him, and Angela found it kind of cute how this ghost seemed so patient with this little girl. It seems like he had been dead for a long time, and the contrast in age amused her. "You haven't known many people over you life? Is it possible to add Kimi and I to that small list of friends?" What in interesting question. No one had outright asked to be friends but she supposed that it didn't really matter how it was done. Kimi was getting more intense in her tugging and she wondered what was wrong with her. Maybe she felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave? "Well sure, I don't see why not. You seem like," she paused and smiled at her words, "Interesting company. Although I don't know how very interesting a plain girl like me could be."

"I am. I've only been here a week or so.". Shiyami nodded, no surprised at all that this girl was new. Her behavior and words, but mostly the hesitation, were a dead give away, no pun intended. He smiled gently, as Kimi was still tugging his arm. "Wait a few chimes, alright Kimi?", he told her, to which Kimi gave a cute little pout, but stopped tugging at the very least. Turning back, he looked around at the Stone Garden, before saying, "Take care not to have your name inscribed in stone here before your time.", in a serious tone. He did not want to see another person go through the hardships of leaving everyone behind, to embark on a solo journey.

"Well sure, I don't see why not. You seem like interesting company. Although I don't know how very interesting a plain girl like me could be.". Sighing almost in relief when he heard the girl answer. Why would he be so moved by her response, you may ask? Kimi was the answer. "Well...I suggest preparing yourself...", he warned, while laughing slightly. Barely after Shiyami spoke, Kimi materialized herself, before tackle hugging the girl. Of course, ghosts had no substantial weight, so the girl wouldn't be knocked back. Chuckling still, Shiyami then asked, "So, what brings you to Syliras City?", while Kimi was still holding onto Angela, showing no signs of letting go anytime soon.

No sooner had she finished her sentence did little Kimi attach herself to her. It took her off guard because she didn't even notice that Kimi was also a ghost. The second she touched her skin, she felt a coldness creep into her bones. Angela smiled anyways, and decided that all she had to do was say something to get the little girl off. Or so she hoped. "So, what brings you to Syliras City?" Shiyami asked, and she was taken aback to the night on the docks with only her bag, the few possessions she could gather, and her savings. But was she really about to tell this stranger that, even though she agreed to be friends? It never really occurred to her that she might share what happened someday. She hesitated and searched for an answer. "I came here for business. I thought a change in scene would do nicely and that I might find more patrons. I'm a card reader," she said, hoping it wasn't all that big of a deal.

Shiyami raised an eyebrow at the girl's response. Card reader...? Ah, I see. So she is a type of fortune., he thought to himself. Kimi however, did not understand the meaning of card reading, looked up at the girl. "Reading?", she asked, while tilting her head ever so slightly to the left. Shiyami sighed however, when he thought upon what he wanted to say. Forgoing his doubts, he decided to speak again. "Card reading. Do those work for ghosts such as Kimi and myself?", he asked nonchalantly.

"Card reading. Do those work for ghosts such as Kimi and myself?" Shiyami had asked and she thought about it in a serious light. What had her mother said about the cards? She tried to remember some words of wisdom, but nothing came to her. How would it not not apply to ghosts? "I suppose," she said, "That the cards would work for ghosts. You are still perusing a destiny of some sorts, I assume, or else you wouldn't be here. I don't see why they would not work." Angela considered the choice of words. The cards "working." That never quite seemed the appropriate word for what was happening. In her experience, the cards simply were a being of their own, and they spoke to her in a way. Maybe the correct word was help. They helped people understand what they did not know, and they helped arm them for the future. But that was probably irrelevant to anyone but her. Most were too busy trying to know and change their future to take any advice that her or her mother tried to give...

Shiyami pondered for a short while, thinking over Angela's answer. "Destiny, you say...?", he spoke softly, while mulling over his idea. "If you would not mind to do so, would you kindly see what my destiny is?", he asked with a curious expression. He wanted to see whether it affects ghosts or not, and he was curious about what his future holds. Kimi...still doesn't seem to have any intention of letting go of the girl's arm. [i]She is really friendly to everyone now, isn't she...?[/], he bemused to himself, while believing that it will be his downfalls omeday if he kept spoiling Kimi. Well, he will worry about that when it happens.

"If you would not mind to do so, would you kindly see what my destiny is?" Shayami had asked. Angela glanced around again searching for a place that would be appropriate to do a card reading. She always carried her deck in her bag. "I suppose I could. We would need to sit down somewhere," her eyes fell on a stone bench that didn't seem to stand out all that much. "There," she said, pointing in it's direction. She moved towards the bench, and Kimi went right ahead and walked with her, still clinging to her. Angela smiled, then thought it would be interesting to do a reading for a ghost. Well, there was a first time for everything.

Shiyami grinned when Angela agreed to give him a card reading. He has never had a card reading done, even though he has attempted to experience everything life and the unlife had to give him, during his four hundred years of existence. Laughing softly, as he watched Kimi continue to cling on to the girl, he followed them to the bench, 'walking' rather casually.

As he 'sat' down on the bench, he was curious about something. "Card readings...they predict both the good and the bad. Am I correct to assume so?", he started the question. Pausing a bit, before continuing with, "If so, how do people usually react to either prediction?" in a curious but light tone.
