Name: Lazarus Havelocke
Race: Eypharian
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Height Around 7'
Weight 180lbs
Birthplace: Ahnatep
Appearance: The first thing someone would notice about this man is, "My god, he's blue!" This would likely be closely followed shortly by the spidery apendages that sprout from his sides, far more than the majority of the human and not-so-human races you would see on a day to day basis. Needless to say, he stands out in a crowd unless grouped with equally or exceedingly strange-looking creatures. His skin is a rich, dark blue, which came in handy later in life when he would become more of a woodsy person for reasons he's rather tight-lipped about. His pigmentation was of much service to him when he needed to disappear into the night. Overall, Lazarus is tall and gangling, a true ectomorph. His hair and beard are black and long, even scraggly throughout most of the day. The woods are not kind to one's personal appearance, so unlike most Eypharians, he's a tad more worn than most had come to expect of his race. Earthen colors adorn his frame in the form of leathers nestled under a drab brown cloak. Nothing flashy, but they serve their purpose.
Lazarus in a Nutshell: Lazarus is, for the most part, extroverted. He was practically born outdoors and prefers being there. Although he puts on airs around non-Eypharians, he does truly take pride in his skills. They are his; they are him. Some people foolishly say that they are not their job. Such a statement is a delusion entertained by those who hate their profession. Lazarus loves what he does and therefore loves what he is. He provides services, he gains compensation, and then he spends his money so that others can live the same dream, or at the very least aspire to live up to the Eypharian standard. It has been noted by lesser races that he is far too "hands-on" with them. Perhaps it's because Eypharians do not understand personal-space beyond what is Eypharian-space.
History: Lazarus was in the woods as soon as he could walk, following in his fathers footsteps and learning his trade. Most think of the lavish nobility of Eypharian society whenever the species' name comes up, but most forget that there are "common" Eypharians that support it all. Throughout his youth Lazarus' father was a harsh task master and Lazarus learned soon what the consequences of wandering off were. After all, his father's wrath wasn't nearly as terrifying as what lurked in the darkness. Despite the gloom and dire dangers that lied in wait within the woods, the wonders of the wilderness ensnared him. There he learned what trees yielded the strongest wood, the best for bow-crafting, how to collect the right kinds for a fire, how to shield himself from the elements, and so much more.
The wilderness hardened Lazarus. He has scars on his body to show everything from childish mistakes to close calls with the local wildlife. They were merely things that taught him life lessons that would stay written on his body to remind him not to acquire too many more, lest he taint his appearance too much. Although, there were those out there who could appreciate the beauty of scars, even certain women among the Eypharians... However, he would have to grow up eventually. Eventually, when he was deemed to be a man, he started venturing out on his own, no longer simply working with father. He worked as a woods-guide for "Better" Eypharians and even occasionally taking the money of of stupid non-Eypharians that didn't know any better, whomever, so long as they could offer a modest payment and would aid the in tracking and capturing the occassional troublesome feral when the opportunity presented itself. However, he and his younger brother had to leave town.

OOC Notes
Lazarus's brother, Dominik, is another PC and will likely be featured in much of his adventures. They are bound to be closely tied together. Those who wish to be included in our adventures, of course, may, but keep in mind that I and probably Dominik's player too will be true to our characters 100% of the way through including the racist tendencies that their species has. Please know in advance that nothing is personal and nothing is serious. It's a game and this is a story. Unless otherwise noted, everything will be in-character. Likewise, I will treat all interactions as IC unless specifically noted that they are not and react appropriately.
