Personality
If Jenni could be summed up in one word, it would me 'smart'. She's highly intelligent, more focused on the mental side of the world rather than the physical. If someone proposes a question without an answer, she will generally spend a decent amount of time trying to find that answer. At times, she will take the question as a personal project, searching through books to find the solution. She is quite determined in this way, always working to the end of whatever she does. Despite this, she does have a slight tempter when things don't go her way, or a person is being particularly irritating. Jenni also has a remarkable gift of remembering dates, and completely random facts. Sometimes this is useful, but it also makes her likely to forget less interesting (but possibly more important) things.
She's quite friendly and honest, never really
trying to be a bad person. Still, she has a minor case of feeling better than most of the people around her, partially because of her family's influence, and partially because of her (generally) superior intelligence. She will not hold it against any one, but still unintentionally isolates herself from others because of this. So Jenni mostly enjoys staying away from the bustle of the city, and instead spends time with her cat, or in general learning and reading.
Jenni doesn't quite know what to do with her life yet, but holds the logic that if she looks into the past, she could use that information to make decisions for the future. She does want to continue on her current path with history, but is considering writing a book of things she has researched, particularly on her family's own history. She's also considering donating it to the Bharani library, so she could look through its collection for more information.
Pre-Creation
1-4Jenni's was born to Nosumo Twilight, and an unknown mother. Her childhood was simple and slightly pampered, and she quickly learned to read, much to her family’s delight. Her first -and most used- word was "Why", as she quickly began to question everything around her. She took in new knowledge like a sponge, and displayed a remarkable talent for remembering completely random, but interesting facts. At the age of four, she would randomly spurt out tidbits of information to her family, confusing some and (after a while) irritating most. She was viewed mostly with disdain, because of the Twilight’s stern rules about marriage, and sometimes
4-12In 500 AV, when Talora and Aysel began their journey away from Lhavit, Jenni, despite her lack in age, began to notice subtle differences. It wasn't much at first, but over the years the change became obvious, compared to what she'd known in childhood. As soon as she could (6 years old) she began to scrawl down notes of how things worked. One major thing was her family's power. Though she remembered being important and not-poor as a child, she'd never remembered ever seeing -or hearing of- a slave, and as they began to appear around the Tower... she noticed things were wrong. Though the notes she took were slightly iffy in hindsight, and some important things unnoticed, it still contains valuable information and memories to her, at least.
When she was 11, Jenni discovered three new things. One, she was initiated into morphing by Altelo, and taught the basics, though she never bothered to advance as far as some of her relatives. On that birthday, she also demanded a specific present - a cat. She'd seen some people in the Tower morph into the creatures, and she'd seen some in a pet store before. To her, they were perfect. Solitary and intelligent, the best creature imaginable. Her parents took her out to pick out a specific one, and she chose an Alheas Lion cat, adoring the long and silky fur, but most of all it's color changing eyes. After learning morphing, the first thing she decided to learn was how to imitate those eyes, and -with the help of some family- finally figured it out. The last and possibly most life-changing thing she obtained was classes. She began taking classes at various places, for a variety of things. Anthropology, for one, was an interesting choice, and though she continued in it, it wasn't her favorite subject. She learned a little bit of Nari, but not much, and general scholarly skills. The topic that caught her eye the most, however, was history. Lhavitan history, Mizaharian history, you name it. She wanted to know. She began to become obsessed with the past, no matter how long ago, and began berating her father for information and more lessons.
12-17Nothing incredibly exciting happened in Jenni's life from the lessons on, until 511, when she was 15. The Day of Discord came around, causing a change in leadership for the Twilight house, and a massive drop in power and leadership. Luckily, Alteo, the new head of the house, had a soft side for his brother, Nosumo, so made sure his daughter was treated with more respect with before. It was a nice and welcome change, compared to all that had happened recently. Over the period of two years things seemed to recover, returning Jenni to a more or less 'normal' state of life, no matter how different it had been a few years previously.
