Cerius Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 26 Birthday: 70th of Summer 487 Birthplace: Syliras Height: 6' 1" Build: Slim, Athletic Hair Colour: Dark auburn Eye Colour: Very dark brown, almost jet-black Skin Tone: Slightly tanned, golden Cerius has always possessed a relatively thin, tall, yet solidly built frame. His unusually dark, calculating eyes rest underneath a heavy brow. A small scar runs over his right cheekbone. Dark reddish-brown hair, medium length. His muscles are toned and well-defined, but not too beefy. Character Concept Cerius is cold-hearted, hedonistic, passionate about what he does and enjoys doing. He will seldom hesitate to make a decision where others may hesitate, and all the time believes that his actions affect him and him alone, without consideration for others. He considers himself a worthy rogue, having been trained somewhat to navigate from one location to another in the shortest time possible. This means he gets many tasks and/or assignments done in an optimum time period. Character History Little of Cerius's history can be recalled. He was born to a rich household in Syliras, made that way by the dishonest work of his powerful father. As far as Cerius knows, his mother disappeared a few days after she gave birth and named him. His father was a region-renowned spy, and apparently that didn't agree with his mother. At the age of 8 onwards, his father took Cerius under his wing and taught him the tricks of the trade. He even gave him practise scenarios around the house, and taught him acrobatics out in the city, so he could sharpen his skills. Those years were harsh on him, but the young boy learned quickly. One day, his father's luck ran out. He was lethally poisoned by a loaf of bread given to him during a shady deal. Cerius found his father's corpse, and feeling no remorse, looted his famed dagger, the Flametongue. It would forever hold a certain tenderness for him, no matter how hardened of an individual he was. Cerius, now a grown man of 25, fled Syliras, well aware of the fact that his inexperience would get him imprisoned and possibly executed by the Knights of Syliras. Before he left, though, he quickly decided that he'd need a companion if to avoid getting too lonely. So, with his limited supply of mizas, he picked up a falcon's egg from a stall in Syliras, even though he had never before studied anything to do with Falconry.
