Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Jorin was honestly a bit upset at the fabric merchant. Just because he'd been maybe a little... aggressive, in his negotiation tactics didn't mean the man had to take his frustrations out on Krima! The poor Konti looked petrified of the man, and she gave the fabric only a cursory glance before hurrying away, leaving Jorin to pay the man the Mizas he was now certain he didn't deserve.

Jorin made sure to keep his face neutral as he dropped the nine silver and five copper mizas on the table. The merchant tried to glare at Jorin, but he just coolly stared back until the merchant sulked and went back to measuring fabric. With a heavy sigh, Jorin turned from the tent and back to the two women, who had begun conversing amongst themselves.

Krima seemed eager to look for Kirsi's woodcarving things, and Jorin was not loath to disappoint. He knew she was probably just eager to get as far away from the location as possible, away from the rather unpleasant merchant and his loud admonitions.

Jorin suspected he might be able to pull a few strings and obtain some of the secondary materials, such as ribbons and needles and thread, that Krima would undoubtedly need. For the moment, though, he decided that the visit to the Bazaar should be a pleasant diversion, not an odious chore. If he had to he could come back later, alone, to pick up the rest of the things Krima would need.

Kirsi seemed to know which direction they should go in, so Jorin just nodded and smiled. "Yes, I believe we are," he replied, in answer to Kirsi's question about whether they were all set. No need to further rock the boat by acting nervous or upset. In any case, now they could help Kirsi find some things to help her with her own work, and perhaps take all their minds off this event.

"If you're sure you have everything...? I know of a fantastic vendor; he sells small carvings as well as tools and wood blocks; he's got some beautiful carved buttons, too," Krima nodded, barely letting the women finish her sentence.

"Yep! I'm sure! The small carvings part sounds interesting. Perhaps I can buy something for my apartment. It's quite bland, since I haven't really had time to decorate it." In-fact, she only had the essentials so far. In due time she would need to buy fabric to make herself, and others, clothing. Along with those she would need to buy a dresser or two for storage. She hated seeing and form of disorder. At least for her, everything should be neat and tidy. Everything should have it's own place, and those places should have an order to be in.

The buttons sounded just as interesting, but they wouldn't be needed just yet. Krima would be sure to examine them, she would need them at some point in time anyway. Krisi took a look around, trying to find the stall she had just mentioned. After a moment, she seemed to figure out where they needed to go. "Well, I'm almost certain we want to head that way," the woman said with a shrug and a point to the left. Krima gave a small nod, and looked down the path. The majority of the merchants sold different fabrics and threads, along with a few booths that sold fashionable leather and shoes. Krima tried to memorize where they were, since she would surely have to find her way back here tomorrow. It was partly that she didn't want to bother the others with more shopping trips just for her. The other part was that she rather not deal directly with another vendor. Especially if they were as nasty as the last one.

Krisi seemed to pick up on this as she gave a reassuring smile. "I'm sure we can find another fabric merchant next time, Krima. I think Jorin's beaten this one up too much for him to ever be really happy to see us again - mizas or not." she said just out of the vendor's ear-shot. Krima gave a small laugh, relaxing a little. With confirmation from Jorin, they were all set to continue.
