Kita had retreated to the woods to get some time away from humanity. It is not that she hated or even disliked humans. They just confused her a great deal. The way they gambled and fought. They were a very interesting speices of course but also a scary one. She was always apprehensive about them. They did not seem to think much about what they were doing. They just went by their whims, buying this or killing that. Very mind boggling stuff for a young vixen like Kita. That is why she resorted to escaping to the Colbalt Mountians every once and a while to get back in touch with her more animalistic side. She would usually stay in her fox form and just live as foxes did for a month or two and then return to the bustling city of Syliras. Although, she was wishing to travel beyond the grand city into the farther reaches of the world. For now though she was living the simple life of a fox and she was happy to say she was enjoying it fully when she was not being pursuited by young children straying from their camp sites or homes. That was what happening right now...
Kita raced through the dense woods trying to loose two young children who were chasing her. She did not want to try to scare the children off. The last thing she needed was to have two kids run home and say how some Kelvic "tried to kill them". She did not want to reinforce the negtive stereotype that Kelvics were uncontrolable animals or that they were blood thirsty beasts. Kita bounded through the woods as fast as her fox paws could take her. She could hear the young kids calling "Come here little foxy, we just want to play with you!". She raced faster and faster until she found herself in the middle of a camp. She saw a young human and his dog gathered togather in the center and she looked at them in shock. She had not anticipated that she would stumble into a camp. She just looked at the young man and his dog with wide gold eyes. She did not know what to do? Should she run? Definately the young man's dog could catch her. If she stayed she could be hunted. She flicked her tail and looked at the two in indecision. She was so terrible at making hard choices. |

As you walk through death's dark veil,
The cannon's thunder can't prevail,
And those who hunt thee down will fail,
And you will be my ain true love...
