"Dragul! Draagguull!" Svasra called as she knocked on the door to his apartment in Solar Winds, rotating between rapping her knuckles against the wood and attempting to summon him to the door with her voice.

It felt a bit odd living so far away from the Akalak, but with her job with Elena, the woman had offered her live with her. As uncomfortably as that can be sometimes, Svasra knew better than turn down the offer as then she didn't have to pay the fees of renting as Dragul did. She wondered how he was faring with his job, as this would be the first time she has had time to see him since they split ways on the second when she officially moved in and started her new job.

Either way, Svasra arrived unannounced this morning when Elena decided to give her a day off, though in turn implied Svasra was indebted. I can only imagine how she will wish for my to fulfil it, Svasra thought idly. The day had dawned nicely, and Svasra knew exactly where she wished to go. Misty Peaks! Right to the Depths of Duality that she had heard of, and was a close attraction not far into the leafy forest. It would be a grand adventure!

"I ... I hope you are .. awake!" Svasra chimed, knocking once more. He would have to open the door eventually, right?

Seeking New Heights [Dragul]

Postby Dragul on September 29th, 2013, 5:44 pm

ImageThe streets loomed far below, and he halted to catch his breath. Traversing the rooftops of Lhavit was much more different than he had anticipated. He had been on the trail of the most interesting fellows. The individual was interesting for the fact that he could discern little of their person, shrouded as they were in cloaks and shadows. It was a hunt, a game, and a delight that made Dragule smile. Finally the individual had run into a dead end alley, and began ascending to the rooftop that Dragul was currently running across. He would finally catch his quarry, and see what secrets kept him so enshrouded.

However, as he reached for the man to halt him, his hand only found purchase on his hood, tearing it off. The man sidestepped Dragul and pushed him towards the edge of the building. Dragul managed to stop himself from falling over, and turned to defend himself. Yet, it was what he saw that halted him. Before him stood someone he knew all to well, down to the very last feature. He was looking at himself. The only difference was the cruel and wicked smile that his other half wore. His other half walked towards him, and Dragul lashed out to slash him with his Lakan, but found that it had disappeared, and before he could man a counter-defense he found himself being pushed off the building's edge. As he fell, unable to find a handhold, he heard Svasra yelling from below him. He heard his name once, and then looked towards the ground where he imagined she was. He heard her shout his name one last time, and then....saw the ceiling.

Dragul awoke in his modest apartment, alone. He was alone, save for the banging on the door that indicate that someone was at his door. The dream was an ill omen, or a simple concern looming in his heart, but such contemplation would have to wait.

It had to be Svasra, for no one else knew well that he was here or had any reason to find him. He had finished his shift not too long ago, and sleep had only partially worked its way through his system. Without fully getting dressed, he put on some pants and went to the door, shirtless. He opened the door "I'm up alright. Come in. How have you been, and what do you want?"

He then began to do some routine exercises, like sit-ups and push-ups while Svasra explained what they would do. He listened closely. He had missed Svasra, the delightful woman that she was. He thought back to how the second round of his travels had been so much better with a companion and one such as Svasra to boot.

Right as Svasra was about to knock once more, it jerked open. Her fist stopped mid-air, pausing in front of knocking on Dragul's bare chest, seemingly startled though his voice had rung through her ears a few moments before. He spoke curtly, as usual, but pleasant as he tilted his head to look downwards to the little storyteller situated outside his door. "Hey, Dragul!" Svasra chirped happily, smiling up at the large Akalak.

Trotting in, as him opening the door was the only invite she needed, Svasra took the chance to look around briefly at the modest quarters Dragul called home during this season. When they had first come in the Summer, Svasra had been planning on living with her companion, but the possibility of living with Elena was hard to refuse when her purse was feeling the pressure of travelling. She had to admit the oddity of seeing Dragul just live alone, as in Avanthal she had always met him someplace or had him over at her house. To see a place that was solely his ... Svasra was saddened to see how bare it was.

Simplistic and by necessity only was not too much of a surprise, especially given the fact that Svasra knew how little money he had. "This ... is nice," she commented all the same, nodding with a complacent smile as she sat at the edge of his bed given it was the only area to do so.

As Dragul went through what Svasra assumed were morning exercises, she quickly got over her disappointment on his bare room. "We, ah, should go on ... on an adventure today, Dragul!" she said excitedly, unable to help the eager glint in her eye as she leaned forwards. "To the Misty Peaks! There is this pool I heard of, and it will not be hard-ah-be hard to find ... it be so much fun! We can walk, rest, and talk, and ..." Svasra trailed off, jumping up to pace the floor as her joy refused to be pinned to the sheets. "Just think! Exploring Lhavit, just you and I! Out in the ... rocky paths of, um, Peaks, and ... and going! Going to new places that have fun stories!"

Turning around, Svasra crossed her arms as she looked down at Dragul, who was currently doing some push-ups, his form sleek and controlled as he lowered himself down. "So? We go?!"
