Located very strategically across from the Traveler's Complex, the Askara Livery Stables provides really good quality horse flesh to caravans, travelers, and locals. The facility has well over a hundred standing stalls plus about twenty loose boxes for horses recovering from injury. In addition, corrals hold driving and more generalized riding stock which is sold to the masses as they pass through needing remounts or refreshed teams to haul wagons. Very rarely are the same animals in the livery from season to season. When giving lessons, the grooms and teachers prefer to use the city of Kenash itself as their training facility rather than a soft dirt arena. Kenash is bustling in the morning and laid back in the afternoon heat so it provides a perfect training ground for almost any sort of equine pursuit. Collin Askara, Stablemaster, has an uncanny eye for horseflesh and is able to pull the best of the best stock from the caravan's traveling through. These prized animals usually end up back at Sweet Home providing future generations of horses for Collin's more long term plans of breeding a unique plantation walker. There are lessons, horses, and of course tack all available at the livery. If the stables doesn't have what someone wants, Collin can most assuredly get it within just two or three caravan passages through Kenash. Friendly, approachable, and somewhat of an embarrassment to his family, Collin is attempting to breed the perfect plantation walker style breed for Kenash. It's very rare that Collin is seen at Sweet Home Askara. Indeed its almost a holiday or emergency situation when he gathers with the rest of the family for events. He is on good terms with his kin, he just doesn't fit in well with the rest of them. Quick to laugh, even faster to forgive, Collin has an even temperament and none of the somewhat excessive traits of the rest of his kin. There is almost a truce between them.
