Closed [The Bent Arrow] Flying Arrows (Erade)

Pinching the bridge of her nose, the huntress waved off the Yasi's apology. She couldn't listen to the girl speak anymore. All she wanted to do was to get away, no, she needed to get away. Fast. The idea of heading back to Wind Reach filled her with dread. She felt as if her failure would be visible for all to see, a ridiculous notion but one that bothered her all the same. So she couldn't go back to the city. Azira didn't feel confident enough to go hunting today either, besides which it was her day off. I could go to Water Reach, she thought. No one knows me there. All I have to do is get my bow and hitch a ride with an Endal. I'll be far from the city before anybody has any idea what a poor hunter I am. She smiled grimly at the thought. All she had to do was get rid of Erade, who was mumbling something that didn't interest the Avora at all. Surely it would only take a matter of moments to get away from the irritating young girl. Right? "Okay, Erade. Don't worry about it, alright? I'll let you know when we can go hunting but I promise we will go. I just don't know when," Azira sighed, watching the girl closely as she began to edge away, back towards the gate. "I have to go now so I guess I'll...see you around." Without waiting for a reply, the teen turned on her heel and began to walk away, lengthening her strides so that she could get away from her humiliation faster. She would find a willing Endal, preferably a woman and she'd head for Water Reach. All she needed was her bow and then she could leave. The huntress returned to Wind Reach without a backwards glance, her head full of thoughts of leaving.

[Erade]

Erade could tell she was seriously starting to annoy the huntress. Words were flailing from her mouth and seemed to have no direction. Azira was pinching the bridge of her nose and waving the younger girl away. Now, I've done. She's second guessing the hunting trip. She mentally cursed.

The yasi tried to to make amends and prove her worthwhile but it seemed a fruitless effort or was it? Azira quickly stated that she would still take her hunting and even promised. Erade beamed at the simple words of 'I promise.' She's never had someone promise her something other than her teacher promising of punishment.

The fiery red head continued to say she would see her around but before Erade could return the farewell, she promptly turned and made her way to the gates. Walking faster as she got further from the yasi. Erade watched her go with a mind full of questions and whispered, "See ya."
