She is very short (4' 11'') and voluptuous with rounded shoulders, a narrow waist, and big hips and thighs. As a bushbaby, she is no bigger than a squirrel with bat-like ears, huge, round, immobile eyes, and a monkey tail that helps her balance. Character Concept Personality: Dulcie is an animated creature, no matter what form she's in. With her high energy level and hyper activity, she never stops moving until she collapses, exhausted, in the morning. Sprightly and spry, Dulcie can be annoying, but she is also lovable. She has a high-pitched voice that sounds quite lovely when she sings. In addition, she can let out a terrifying cry or shriek to scare predators away. Although she is a quick learner, she has not had much education and cannot read or write at all. Dulcie loves to laugh, so she is often attracted to jokesters and comedic entertainers. Special abilities: Being a bushbaby, Dulcie has very acute hearing and she can see in the dark quite well. However, her eyes cannot move in their sockets, so her head is constantly twitching and turning, making her look like she is a nervous wreck most of the time. Dulcie can also jump very far because of her strong legs. Character History Born in Riverfall to a young human couple who gave her away to an Akalak once they realized what she was, Dulcie (short for Dulcinea) spent much of her first two and a half years in captivity at the Monstrous Menagerie. Not knowing what would happen to her if she changed into her human form, Dulcie developed and grew as a bushbaby until she had a chance to escape one night when a predatory bird that was attempting to eat her loosened the locks on her crate. After slipping away into the darkness, Dulcie quickly changed into a human, obtained some clothes, and left the city.
