First I would read theses pages to help you out.

The basic starting guide that will show you some of the ropes of the site.

I would go to the help desk to change your name for as long as you have a account name like that you won't be allowed to play the game. You can find the Help desk in the main forum at the bottom of the page.

You should also read any page that is in the Lore area that you can click on the button on top.
