Seriously, I wonder how many characters here have red hair!

Post if you do and explain why you chose that hair color. Does it have something to do with your character's personalty or is it purely aesthetic?

To the rest of you non-Gingers: Why did you choose the hair color of your character?

To expand on this further, is there reasoning behind your character's hair style?

My character is a redhead. I chose it because I personally am an auburn/reddish-brown type, but I have an obsession with truly red hair because of it's beauty and natural resilience to most chemical products. But mostly cause it's pretty. ^_^

My Dhani has red hair. I have red hair in real life, I find it to be cute!~

Though since I do have red hair in real life the majority of my characters tend toward black hair.

Mine does not, Edelweiss has white hair as I do. Originally he was going to have a brown redish hue but I suddenly decided on a white elk rather then their more common colored siblings. Since a Kelvic looks like his animal his hair turned white. There does appear to be a lot of red hair characters around. Personally I love red hair, and people who have it often have fair and light skin and the brightest eyes. They are a constant contrast to themselves and its just pretty. I also secretly think all freckles are cute.

Kit is a very redheaded gal. It probably had something to do with a fiery and unbindable personality, but I cannot be sure. Either way, I know it looks cool and striking. Just felt right.

Well, I followed the species description and chose dark brown hair for my Benshira, but remember that there are a lot of red-haired Inarta, right? I'm blonde in real life, but there are some redheads in my family and none of them really fit that fiery personality stereotype...

My character has red hair because her mother is Inarta, and though Sira herself is a kelvic, she inherited that racial trait from her mother. Also, redheads are hot.
