Character Analysis “What good is a play if its characters are bland?”
Physical Description At 5’10”, Guy takes after his father, Jionn [Jee-On] Laliberté, with a medium build and black hair. His hair, much like his fathers, was starting to go grey at an early age, making him look beyond his age. This pseudo-age enhancement belies his nimbleness and prestidigitation, surprising people who see him perform or practice martial arts without his mask on. His Green-beige eyes are bright and attentive, frequently scanning his audience and their demeanor and attitude to determine the best course of action to follow his latest act.
Character Concept Guy is a happy-go-lucky person, and always wants to bring smiles to others faces, which is one of the reasons he followed in his fathers’ footsteps to become a street performer. He is very quick to accept someone as his friend, and won’t deny anyone a favor (unless, of course, it is impossible, or goes against his beliefs). He is has a shining character, and usually just being around him is enough to make people smile, even when he’s not in his signature Jesters’ costume. His actions, though varying and unpredictable, are usually done with good intentions and result in a mutually beneficial situation.
Character History His father, Jionn Laliberté, worked the streets of Syliras, usually on the third tier, and from him Guy learned the tricks of the trade. Other than the constant moving from one place to another, he led a fairly normal childhood, even with his mother not in his life. His fathers' death brought great sadness to his heart, but such sadness could not stay. It was against Jionn’s wishes, for he wanted his son not to worry, not to grieve, but to continue his trade. And so begins the saga that is Guy, the Entertainer. |
