Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]

Image PETCH!

With a thwack, their heads collided earning her a splitting headache instantaneously. For a moment the world seemed to spin and tilt all at once. Everything felt uneven and she was lightheaded. At one point she could've sworn there was two of him, but then after a moment her tilting world leveled out again. The pounding in her head was still very much present. Now she could at least see straight, enough focus at her disposal to be competitive. There still laid the problem his well timed hit had loosened her grip, putting her at a severe disadvantage.

His hands hit her shoulder and she was reeling back without much choice. When her foot work was back, she stood her ground like a stone. Out of good will she waited for him to do the same. After all what would be the fun of kicking her opponent while he was already down? This was a spar, not the killing field. It was about pride and skill here rather than a fight for one's life. Besides, if she was going to win she wanted the fight to be as close to even as possible.

The boy charged at her like some sort of crazed animal. Before her body and brain had time to see what was coming, his arms were outstretched at wrapping her up in a bear hug. Kaie's eyes went wide immediately but she went down anyways.

Stupid! I should've been able to counter that! Now look at you, Kaie. Hope you don't mind the dirt...

She cursed herself profusely, anticipating the ruthless smashing of her back into the ground. Then she felt her balance shift and before she knew it she was the one on top. His profanity in response to his mistake made her realize just how perfect all had turned out. All in her favor. There was a sucking noise coming from him, like he was battling to return air to lungs he might've lost. Scrambling to her knees over him again, she grinned. Sure, he had her wrist but that would not be enough. She had two hands and the advantage. Kaie wouldn't dare let an opportunity this good escape her.

So with the cheer of their small crowd, the shouts and the eagerness reaching a peak, Kaie smiled down at the boy. He was nothing to her but a punching bag. Granted this one could hit back, but that was beside the point. In her fights she made a point to be the one in control. To be the dominant combatant. With her gender playing a massive role in the expectations held by her peers, there was no other option. It was time to quit playing around and finally put this boy back in his place. How fitting he was below her.

And without further ado or showmanship, Kaie brought a right fist straight into the side of his jaw. Doing her best to nail the spot she was once assured could cause a knock out if executed properly.

He squirmed, panic now overcoming his childish mind. The thought that he would lose terrified. He thought he had picked someone who he could beat. Someone with skill, but not enough to overcome his own. She countered and fought against him better then he though. The pressure of the oncoming lose added to the pressure of her on his chest. He growled lowly, mostly at himself, he struggled more as the crowed cheered. Then her fist collided with his jaw. Quickly everything blanked out, he heard nothing but the faint murmer of laughed and cheering from the kids. His body laid there, motionless. The pain from his jaw shot through his body like a bolt of lightning. It jumped his nerves, coursing through his fingertips and down to his feet. Moments later his eyes opened and he sat up. He rubbed his jaw and shook his head. "Petching weakling" he mumbled. He pushed himself to his feet and looked around. Most of the kids weren't paying any attention to him anymore. The shame in his lose angered him. He turned on his heels and began to walk away from the arena.

Additional Notes :
Very rarely do I read a thread so well evenly matched! Both of your brawling skills at Novice I really enjoyed how you guys had advantages, disadvantages, and really played it out accurately, and even though a Myrian female winning is typical, I really enjoyed that outcome when all is said and done, as it will make a great follow up thread if and when these two meet again!

Nanak I just wanted to note that I do not award XP for things like this:
His mind processed many tactics
which is like saying 'one moved acrobatically' and that kind of thing, just to note in the future!

Great thread guys, and I look forward to a heated battle in the future!

Yes, I Bite.
