36th of Autumn, 513AV
Sosicly had checked the Purging, then the Nest only to find her needed human missing. Not missing per se, just making things difficult by being far up near the Woven Gates.
Following the red strand road she passed up the more obvious places to the building that always made her feel uncomfortable. Likely due to its attempt at being more like the topside houses. With its wood painted walls, odd death trap staircase, and strange beds. The only comfort was the familiar silken walls, that really added no comfort at all due to the lack of Symenestra that populated the Public house.
Sosicly huffed in annoyance as she pulled out her book, and accosted the nearest attendant with her words. I am looking for the human healer, Oscar. Take me too him, please.
The woman looked at Sosicly in surprise then shot her a sly look. However, the other Sym turned away too quick for her to really interpret the look. It seemed strangely reminiscent of the first time she had met the healer. And she trotted along behind the attendant until she reached a room where the attendant knocked politely near the door and wandered off with a wink.
Finally understanding the implications of the look, Sosicly shook her head, and waved her hands in a slashing motion but the attendant only continued to smile, "Secrets safe with me." she called over her shoulder.
The woman was actually an idiot.
Without waiting for Oscar to allow her, Sosicly pushed into the room and located the nearest bed, then sat down comfortably. Glancing around she noted other beds but no occupants, and the healer standing a few feet away.
Getting straight to the point Sosicly held out her book to him, her expression carefully blank. She remember old words about how a healer of Rak'keli would never turn down someone sick, and how Oscar had even healed Shausha in the Temple. Still she did not trust it but the constant pain in her chest reminded her it was necessary.
I wish for you to be my personal healer. You will figure out how to fix me, since Hellebore cannot do it.
