How did it come to this? She remembered closing her eyes to rest. But now...she was in some fields. The very same grass fields near Endrykas. And standing across from her. Were three familiar men. Two of them were her older twin brothers, Gravun and Yusu. Though their appearances were at one point similar, now they couldn't be much more different. But their Six foot and two inch height hasn't changed. Which kept them towering over Sayren.

Gravun was emblazoned with windmarks down his arms and his chest. His long blonde hair wisking through with the winds as his blue eyes gazed at his little sister in sorrow. He was wearing an average sleeveless tunic and set of trousers. Around his neck was a necklace with a diamond encrested in an emblem. He held out his sword to Sayren, "Please...don't make us do this...We just want you home..."

Beside him, was Yusu. His windmarks curved around his face and eyes. Then curved down his shoulders to the tips of his knuckles. His tunic was rather tight against his shoulders while his trousers sagged at his hips. His blonde hair was cut short, neatly trimmed about an inch off his skull. His eyes pierced over at Sayren as he raised his bow, he didn't have an arrow cocked, not yet anyways, but his fingers were flexing at his side. His quiver, stocked well with arrows, and gently waiting at his side. He had nothing to say to her, but Yusu was never a man of many words.

Then behind them...their father...Dangrie. Though he was aged in years, the man still stood proudly at about six feet and five inches. His gray mustache stretched to the corners of his upper lip. His gray lochs steadily flapping in the wind as his weary blue eyes gazed at Sayren. Neither giving her a look of pride nor disappointment. The man was covered in fine leather armor. Along with with a few jewels that dangled around his neck and wrists with silver and diamonds. But what was most fearful, was the battleaxe his hands were resting on. With dual-blade edges facing towards the ground.

"You shouldn't have come back Sayren..." Dangrie's voice boomed, "You dishonored me the night you left the village."

Sayren's eyes narrowed as she drew her longsword, taking a stance in front of them, "I came to show that you don't control me anymore father! I just wish Gravun and Yusu could see that too..."

Dangrie narrowed his eyes at her, "My sons are loyal to me. They follow their father's commands well, and without second thought. Like all-"

"You treat them like watchdogs!" Sayren shouted, "Hounding them against anyone that would say no to you! And you would have me do the same if I were a son, but I wasn't. I was born a woman, and you would've had me bred like some cow to birth yet another son for your-"

She was interrupted by the smashing of Dangrie's axe to the ground, "Enough of this! You are as great a failure as a woman as you were my daughter! Now it's time to discipline you! Gravun! Take care of this pathetic whelp that used to be your sister..."

Gravun's grip on his sword tensed as he closed his eyes. Taking a breath as he reopened them with determination blazing in his eyes, "I'm sorry Sayren...but you leave us with no choice..." And with that...he charged at her.

A Fateful Family Reunion...gone Wrong (Kreig)

'Another Dream?' was the first thought that struck Kreig's mind as he looked at his surroundings, it wasn't his nightmare that took place in the streets of Sunberth, and it wasn't the odd version of the bathhouse in Syliras where Kreig had uh....delightful.... encounter with a Drykas woman. This was in a much different place, one he hadn't been as he stood in...or rather amongst unusually tall grass 'well....this isn't odd' Kreig was glad at least he was wearing the clothes he would wear in the waking world.

He was dressed in his black shirt and white pants, his wide brimmed hat on his head. over his clothing was his armor, which consisted of a breastplate, grieves, gauntlets and Vambraces. He did not carry his weapons however; his only weapons were his armored fists. He moved through the grass, trying to find an exit to this natural maze. It didn't take long to reach this exit as he soon stepped into a clearing, where in the distance he could see a few people he could definitely recognize, not who they were but what. The people before him were unaware of his presence, for the moment that is.

Three men and one girl, they eldest man, who looked quite tall despite his age seemed to be arguing with a young female 'Oh come on! This many tall people is unnatural in this lifetime' He thought as he recalled the many people he met in the past that were taller than he, the old man was simply another addition and quite frankly he now knew how people much shorter than he felt like. He was too far to hear their words, but he could make some of it out as he crept closer and closer, but it was all gibberish, even then they spoke too fast in their native language for him to catch anything of importance.

Suddenly, one of the man lunged forward to attack the girl, seeing this the brawler though 'Oh no you don't' He moved forward quickly and as he approached he leaped forward, his left leg extend as the heel of his foot connected with the side of the man's face and knocked him aside while Kreig bounced back slight and landed on his feet. He tilted his neck from side to side while his right hand massaged it slightly, popping sounds emanating from it. Then stood straight as he began to move his hands as he spoke the words in Pavi 'Hello.....here problem?' Kreig said brokenly, His accent no doubt showing throw his words and the awkward hand movement, then looked at the young woman before him, she was a shapely young thing, her body well toned and fit for survival 'No doubt needed in her home land' He thought. She had the tattoos of her people on her left shoulder and her blue eyes shone brilliantly. he had to admit, she was quite attractive although part of him hoped this wouldn't turn out like another certain dream he had involving an attractive Drykas.

"You...alright?"

Before Sayren's and Gravun's swords could clash, they were interrupted by the swift movement of a man. His foot colliding with Gravun's face and forcing him backwards. The man attempted to speak pavi to Sayren, the young drykas couldn't help but smile at his weak attempt. So she spoke to him in common, it only had a slight twinge of pavi, but it was too heavy, "Hello there. Thank you for the assistance, but it's not needed."

She didn't want to be rude to him, he did try to help her. He even asked if she was okay in that broken pavi speech of his. "Its okay to speak common to me. I understand the language well, more so than my father..."

Dangrie's eyes narrowed as he saw the man stand beside his daughter. The old drykas recognized the armor that man wore. Syliran Knights. His daughter would stoop so low as to try to become one of them. And even speak that disgraceful language...pathetic. "Sayren...I was merely going to have you punished for all that you've done. Even grant you a chance to be redeemed. But you have lost ALL of that. By siding with a SYLIRAN!"

Sayren narrowed her eyes at her father, her tongue naturally slipping back into the pavi language, "I've never sided with one. I don't even know this one. But he just saved me from my own BROTHER."

Dangrie barked, "Enough!" Raising his axe and pointing it towards the newcomer, "Sylirans are back stabbers, liars, cheats, ungrateful and arrogant!"

"Speak for yourself father! After mother's death, look at what you've become!"

"Enough I said!" Dangrie growled, "I'm growing tired of this shyke! Sons...kill them both...your sister is nothing more than a Syliran wench now..."

Gravun's eyes glanced down in sorrow, then back up at Sayren, "I'm sorry...but its-"

"No!" Sayren shouted at her brother while raising her sword to him, "Don't you dare try to justify this! You are about to kill your sister just because your father told you to do so."

He remained silent for a moment. Searching for the words to tell her. Then he sighed, "May you forgive me in the Next Life to Come."

And with that, their swords clashed.

While this happened, Yusu glared down the newcomer, his bow raised with an arrow cocked as he slowly circled around the man. His common speech wasn't great, but he least knew a few words, "Syliran trash...you...pay..." And with that, his arrow vaulted towards Kreig.

'Welp' this man had issues' Kreig thought, the woman seemed appreciative of his help albeit denying needing it. The way Kreig saw it, and if he could understand the conversation proper, enough to get the gist of it at least 'A family dispute, eh?' Kreig thought and shook his head, what a thing to get caught up in and this one just had to turn deadly. As a dream, he knew he wasn't going to die...though he found the situation annoying, on the one hand...he was getting into a fight and he liked that, on the other hand, he was getting into enough conflict in the living world that quite frankly...these life and death situations were getting onto his nerves 'Wow, I'm a I really feeling that way?' Nonetheless, he was stuck in the situation now and he had no choice but to interfere more.

The man before him, the one he was stuck with as his opponent, had a bow. Circling him like an angry hawk as he was ready to fire an arrow, Kreig had to adjust himself continuously to face the bastard and before quickly jumpin to the side and twist his body to avoid that one "Pay in what? Money? Would that be would it take for you not to kill your sister? Blood, hey if a droplet of my blood will stop it than I will drop some" Kreig said in the common tongue, unsure if the man understood, then he switched to pavi and glared at him "You try kill..own family....Vagik....You are scum, too" Kreig announced, this seemed to infuriate the Drykas as he let loose another arrow, Kreig dropped to the side to dodge it. He dodged the moment the Drykas let go of the string as simply waiting for the arrow to leave and then dodge was an impossibility, the arrow grazed the left side of his abdomen however and the brawler winced and gritted his teeth.

Grabbing some dirt from the earth with both hands, he tossed them up to form a cloud of dust. The Drykas another arrow, but had no idea if it struck. It didn't thankfully as the brawler emerged from and charged forward, the drykas was about to ready another arrow, but Kreig grabbed arrow head before the drykas pulled the bow string back and violently pulled forward and snatched the arrow, twisting his body as he pulled his right arm back using the momentum he throwed his left fist in a hooking motion, striking the drykas' right cheek. His gauntleted fists would cause one heck of a concussion as the Drykas stepped back, his bow arm extended forward. Kreig grabbed the arm and pulled him forward and struck him in the gut, knocking the wind out of him... the combination of a metal fist striking his head and stomach taking all the energy out of him and causing him to lose concious ...." I could have killed you, be thankful"

After Yusu engaged the knight, Gravun swung his sword towards Sayren. She quickly deflected the blow with her own sword and slid it towards the side. Giving her a chance to lean forward and lunge a punch. However, Gravun had leaned his other hand back and slapped Sayren's punch away.

Using the momentum of the swing, Sayren swung her sword upwards. Which was only halted by Gravun's own sword. That was when Gravun jabbed a punch at Sayren's chest. Making the movement so quick, Sayren couldn't stop it and was pushed back.

"Sayren! Just come home!" Gravun pleaded once more.

Sayren darted a glare at Gravun, "No! Not while Father continues to use us all as his little puppets!" She dashed forward. Thrusting the blunt end of the blade into Gravun's gut. She then vaulted a kick into Gravun's gut as well, using the momentum to shift her weight as she lifted herself into the air. Launching another kick into Gravun's chest. Pushing her back and spinning backwards so she could land on her feet. Her most fluid attempt at the combination.

Gravun fell flat on his back. Grunting as he reached to get back onto his feet. But Sayren had straddled him and brought the sword to his throat. "Stay down Brother..." She gritted through her teeth.

Gravun sighed. Wanting to say something, but was quickly interrupted by their father. "Pathetic, the both of you!" He grumbled. Sayren glanced over to see the Knight knock Yusu down to the ground. Gravun's muscles tensed, as if to throw Sayren off, but he stopped. Offering Sayren a brief smile before lolling his head off to the side.

Petcher, she thought. He had gone easy on her again. However...she couldn't blame him. Gravun had always tried to protect Sayren.

"To believe, I called those worthless brats my sons." Dangrie growled. He glared at the knight with heavy malice. "I speak...your...disgusting tongue." His confusion only infuriating him more, "Tell you. I...Kill you!" He slipped back into Pavi to warn Sayren, "And as for you, I will deal with you next." With that, he held his Battle axe up. Placing himself in a defensive stance as he glared at the knight.

"Your a worthless excuse for a father, you know that?" Kreig glared at the man before him " I'm sure there's a stick up your hindquarters that someone stuck up there and forgot to remove it at some point, because that is the only reason I can think of that makes you such a bastard Kreig thought "Your own people must hate you I bet" Kreig scratched the back of his head while he looked down at his side and sighed, then glared back at the old man " Sunberth isn't lacking in guys like you, maybe you should visit them if this turns out to be one those dreams" Kreig said as he popped the joints in his neck.

"Now...let me push you face down into the shyke where you belong" Kreig thought as he slowly approached the old crackpot, an axe wielding old crackpot, who doesn't seem to have any trouble carrying that axe 'I think I should be thankful this is a dream' He thought to himself as he raised his fists once he was in a close enough distance "Now, got any words before we start?"

" Talk too much, filthy animal"

"Yeah yeah, I'm sure I won't be shutting up any time soon either" Kreig said as he purposely lowered his fists, to provide false opening for the annoying old crackpot as he closed in with a downward axe strike, only to rotate to the side and strike the man's left cheek cleanly. Sending him sprawling to the ground, but to the old mans credit, he quickly stood up and simply treated the punch as an annoying ant bite, despite it being supplemented by a steel gauntlet "Tougher than you look" That or simply this being a dream could have made this man more dangerous than he truly is.

"Excuse me miss, but if push comes to shove, may I kill this bastard?"

Sayren qatched as the knight engaged her father in a quick skirmish. The knight was fast, to his credit, but she knew her father, he was hardened by the life of a warrior drykas. Though he was an elder, he could easily outlast most of the Drykas boys when it came to tasks. Despite the energy the old man put out in that quick altercation with the knight, he barely broke a sweat. Most men his age would've been out of breath normally.

Dangrie's eyes narrowed when the knight asked if he could have permission to kill. Even rolled in disgust. "Pest. You? Kill me? No chance." That's when the old man dropped his axe to the ground. It gave a loud pounded thud as it flopped onto the ground. "Here. Fight like man. Your skull break at my fist. Then I'll teach-" Before he could finish his sentence, Sayren jolted forward, sending her fist into her father's lower jaw as she rose upward with the strike.

Dangrie snarled as he wiped blood from his mouth. "You petching little brat! You leave me no choice!" He then sent a quick fist across Sayren's jaw. It swiftly dropped her to the ground from the force he had put behind it. "Learn your place as a woman! Or you will learn what it means to be a weak fighter! And that's death!"
