The wizard was silent through the process, watching and feeling how Kouri handled the situation. Even from the small bit of casting Anna could feel a thrill of pleasure run through her mind, it was shaky and sloppy but by Rhysol it felt damn good. Casting, the feelings and emotions that came with it, was like drug to her. An addiction that needed to be fed every now and again in order for her to feel right in her own body, even Rhysol's blessing was a poor substitute by comparison. It was blasphemous to think so, but it was the truth on a physical level at the very least.
In honesty, the casting itself was utterly pathetic for something that came from her. Such a slow and ponderous execution was hardly worthy of one like herself, but again, considering how weak Kouri was in regards to possession and how painfully ignorant she must be in respects to magic it was at least something. A sign that they could improve with practice, likely a lot of practice and possibly soulmist. Of course, this was assuming that Kouri would indeed wish to continue this partnership.
Anna couldn't take it any more, her body was screaming for her to evict the child from it. Her limbs felt pretty sore by this point, certainly it was not going to be fun waking up in the morning after for this. She needed to push Kouri out now, before something potentially crippling occurred.
Yes, you did very well, precious child. However I can't hold back any more, you need to get out. The wizard informed her.
Without much more preamble the wizard simply dropped her guard against her natural response. More than that Anna gave the ghost child a mental push out, gentle but firm. It wasn't very difficult as Kouri was indeed quite unskilled at the art of possession, pushing her out was as simple as willing her to be gone.
When the ghost finally did depart her body, Anna would find herself on her hands and knees gasping for breath. Each intake would be cold and chilling, as though the air about the ghost still lingered within her lungs. Her body felt sore, uncomfortably so and she herself needed to take a moment to stop her limbs from shaking. All in all, it was pretty unpleasant as far as aftermaths went.
When she caught her breath she'd address Kouri, a slightly embittered grin on her face as she gazed at the floor.
"Pathetic, I couldn't even last that long. Reduced to a panting dog after so short a time. Goes to show what kind of Spiritist I am." She whispered, angered and frustrated that she had not possessed any ability to stop her responses.
Practically, she realized that these things took time and that patience was required for success. However a part of her wanted more, she wanted to be able to share control or at least last longer than that before she was reduced to this. It would certainly take more practice before either was a possibility, unfortunately.
"My apologies for the rough kick Kouri. My own fault there, as I've said I'm not much of a Spiritist. Are you alright?" The wizard asked, her eyes finally leaving the floor.
