Ok so since I have jumped into the world of grading I have found some interesting things out about myself. Number one I get plot envy. I do! I read the plots of other people and I am like, ooo that seems fun to write! It just makes me more plotty which I don't think is a bad thing...except..to other characters that I tend to drag into trouble with me

Another thing is how poor my eye sight has really gotten. I have to say I am having difficulty reading some of the smaller fonts. Methinks I might have to go see an eye doctor again. Haven't gone since the last time they tried to throw glasses on me, in 2003. >.> Anywho.

Grading will slow down during the weekends. It is the time my kids are all home from school and husband is off from work. I post a bit on the weekends because I am usually composing posts in my head while I do other things but grading is not something I can do while doing others. I won't stop all together, but I will be slowing down on it.

That being said I am now really inspired to write some solo's on my Akalak. Perhpas get him to 50,000 for nano too and help Tarot have to sing a song.

So taking a little break from grading this weekend, by break I mean I still graded some but didn't do as many as I might have. Basically to prevent myself from going stircrazy.

So to fill the time between posts I have been reading the lore. And I have developed a massive girlcrush on the Zith. This race has so much potential to be spectacularly awesome. I was at first thinking of making a Zith but decided against it when I realized their biggest place of residence was not developed. WIth so many cities having major prejudices (which oocly is completely understandable lol) it would have been hard to find one that a zith could actually belong especially since I was completely new when I entertained the idea and didn't understand how to break into the RP culture here.

Now though, oh man so many plots and ideas are just springing into my mind. So much that could happen with a colony of Zith..plus in Riverfall, Endrykas, there are all kinds of plot opportunities there considering Akalak actively hunt zith for sport (ok rite of passage same diff!)

I am sincerely hoping that we get a legion of Zith PC's, because just the dynamic of zith + zith just seems too awesome to not have in Mizahar. I am thinking that the reason we don't have many more zith is perhaps because it would be a more difficult race thanks to all of the "Eww Zith Kill Kill Kill!" ness that goes on. But if one were to ..stick it out..man...*ponders*...

Taylani, if you want to play a Zith, you should also consider Kalinor. It is not as extremely prejudiced against Zith as some of the other cities in Mizahar, and there are already a few Zith PCs living there.

To add to Poison's comment, I am attempting to write the lore for the Ruv'na. The Zith would fit well within that faction, the Ruv'na being fanatics against the gods, abandoning racial bias in favor of their goal. Those who worship gods often hate both the Zith, and the Ruv'na. Ruv'na are meant to only socialize with their own kind however, and I am working to make their base of operations more of a town for the godless or those forsaken by them.

Oh I probably won't be playing a zith..just really crushing on the concept of them. I might, I do have a lot of time on my hands but I would have to think about it.

I think I had a friend I was trying to convince to join Mizahar who seemed really interested in the Zith, he seemed a bit irked by the limited places zith could play in. He never really ended up playing anyway which was a bummer. I felt he would like the Isur as there very similar to dwarves, which is a fantasy race he seems to like.
I personally have a nerd crush on a lot of the different races on here but I'm sticking with my pycon for now. I just have way to many things I like to do for me to handle more than one character.
I think my favourite races are Pycons (obviously), Akvatari, Akalak, Chardoa, Ethaefal and Symenestra. I think my least favourite is humans only because I am one in real life.

Yeah that's one of the drawbacks. I am interested in zith, but not just as alone character. I love the idea of a zith colony, of multiple zith living together and the dynamics of that.

But if a bunch of us make Zith, then we can be a Zith colony together! If everyone is afraid to make Zith because there are no Zith to play with, then no one will EVER make a Zith! We have to get Zith popularity rolling so we overcome this fear of RPing alone! Join us in Kalinor and let us form the first ever PC Zith colony!!!!
