"Yes, it is quite obvious, John," Oc agreed, grinning. John spoke about limits and knowing them, which made her feel a bit better about the amount he'd already had. Surely that meant he knew his own limit, right?
While she didn't quite understand what about John's comment made their 'dark and sinister' companion uncomfortable enough to leave, Oc found herself nodding to the woman anyway. "Thank you for your company," she managed to get out before the woman left the tavern, the Kelvic giving a small wave. The brunette watched her go, quickly losing sight of her among the people, frowning slightly in a look of mild confusion.
Shaking it off, she returned a small smile to her face, looking over at John. "I guess that just leaves you and me," she commented. "She certainly was odd, right? Even by human standards? Though far more intelligent than most people I've met..." She trailed off, wondering if she'd meet the stranger again.
"So what is your limit?" she asked him, curious. Knowing would also make her more comfortable, as she had seen some of the bad decisions made by drunks and hoped dearly that John would not be one of them. "Unless, of course, you like having your comrades 'deal with you'..." She let out a small laugh, hoping the comment made her seem less concerned. Ocelot was unused to some human behavior and drinking was on that list. She shrugged, looking over at the knight, smiling anyway and trusting him to know his own limit.
OOCThank you for joining us! I do hope they meet again. Especially with how much Jilitse asked and made me think more about where Ocelot came form...
